Position Overview

Structural-Builders & Restorations (S-BR) is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations for commercial projects throughout South Florida. This role is responsible for managing all on-site activities, coordinating labor and materials, enforcing safety compliance, and ensuring work is executed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and industry standards.

Our projects often involve high-rise buildings, occupied structures, and complex access conditions requiring the use of swing stages, scaffolding systems, aerial lifts, and other engineered access equipment. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, excellent networking with local leading manufacturers, and the ability to manage multiple crews in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities

The role’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Supervise day-to-day field operations

• Coordinate manpower, subcontractors, deliveries, and equipment usage

• Review project drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure proper system installation

• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies

• Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce fall protection protocols

• Coordinate inspections with Project Management and third-party inspectors

• Monitor project schedules and proactively address delays or conflicts

• Maintain quality control and ensure installations meet manufacturer requirements

• Submit daily field reports and track progress using company reporting platforms (e.g., Raken)

• Assist with project phasing and logistics planning for occupied buildings

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Foreman on commercial projects

• Experience working at heights and with access systems such as lifts, scaffolds, and swing stages

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

• OSHA 30 Certification preferred

• Knowledge of South Florida building codes and permitting processes preferred

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

This is a highly responsible position that supports the health, safety and welfare of Tribal members and the public. The incumbent in this position is responsible for managing the regulation and inspection of building construction, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing installations and directing compliance and enforcement of all related federal, state and local ordinances of the Seminole Tribe of Florida (STOF). Work involves technical review of all types of construction drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure compliance with applicable codes and ordinances. The incumbent provides general oversight, management, and leadership to building inspectors, plans examiners, and permit technicians as required and is responsible for the issuance of all permits and Certificates of Occupancy in accordance with the Florida Building Code and Tribal administrative policy. The person is also responsible for the administration of the Tribe’s elevator and commercial structure annual inspections programs.

The individual works closely with the Director of the Tribal Inspector’s Department to support all departmental programs and initiatives, including but not limited to the development of the departmental budget and strategic plans, development of building inspections processes and programs, evaluation and improvement of service delivery systems, and administration of the Tribe’s Unsafe Structures Ordinance Program. The incumbent may attend Tribal Council meetings or other community meetings and works with all necessary stakeholders to resolve complaints, address concerns, or solve problems as needed. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Building Construction, Civil Engineering, Architecture or related field is required. Master’s degree is preferred. A minimum of ten (10) years of experience as an Architect, Engineer, Building Inspector, Build Code Administrator, or Construction Superintendent with at least five (5) years being in a supervisory capacity is required; or, any equivalent combination of education, experience and training will be considered.

Prior experience with EnerGov software system is preferred. Possession and maintenance of a Building Code Administrator certification by the Florida Building Code Administrators and Inspector’s Board is required. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Must have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills including the ability to clearly communicate complex ideas in English both orally and in writing. Must be able to respond and commit to full duty operations during Hurricane or other emergency events. Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft software programs. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills including English written and oral communication skills are required. The Clinical Affairs Manager will provide clinical expertise, insight, and support to clinical end-users, clinical sales specialists, sales team, Regulatory, Engineering, marketing, and other corporate departments on safe and effective use of the Teleflex Medical product portfolio with primary emphasis on the Coronary/Structural Heart franchise. This position will support the appropriate clinical application of the Coronary/Structural Heart franchise via didactic, web-based, and teleconference education, and understanding of these products and best practices. Clinical support will be provided to physicians, nurses, techs, etc., to include support for live cases/proctorships in the therapeutic areas related to focus products. The Clinical Affairs Manager will drive innovation by identifying product attributes necessary to expand into new markets, or capitalize on new clinical applications; identify new, clinically driven product and market opportunities; and perform other related duties as required. Provide support during society engagements, facilitating the exchange of scientific information in close collaboration with CMA leadership and the broader clinical affairs interventional team.

Identify and expand the customer base through professional networking, consultation related to best practices and the appropriate clinical use of Teleflex products, and timely professional follow-up. Support Coronary/Structural Heart educational programs with aligned educational goals and needs of the Interventional Business Unit. Support scientific exchanges of information with medical societies. Pre-conference & in-booth educational programs, meetings with scientific committees, education grant support, and research submissions (in collaboration with the Global Research & Scientific Services team). Off-label support for Teleflex products in accordance with Teleflex policy & local legal regulations

Manage utilization of HCPs in accordance with Teleflex IPPs. Coordinate efforts between cross-functional partners, including Medical Affairs, Global Research & Scientific Services, marketing, and R&D. Coordinate, participate, and manage educational, scientific activities at identified local, regional, and national trade shows/exhibitions. Serve as part of the CMA clinical expert team on product applications and troubleshooting when interfacing with SBU Leadership, Clinical Sales Specialists, and Teleflex team members. Participate as a clinical expert on project teams, committees, and in meetings with various corporate departments to provide guidance as to the clinical perspectives for the Coronary/Structural franchise. Build and support infrastructure for speaker programs supporting Teleflex Academy, webinars, training content, and programs. Coordinate and participate in content development and review of education material as needed by IA BU or CMA. Manage all business-associated administrative tasks and responsibilities to support job-related activities, to include strict adherence to the Teleflex Medical T&E policies and procedures, timely filing of required and/or requested reports, and documentation of activities via approved documents and forms. Adhere to applicable Teleflex IPPs, Teleflex Code of Ethics, and all Company policies, rules, procedures, and housekeeping standards.

Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in clinical, biology, health sciences, or engineering. Procedural experience within Interventional Cardiology and/or Structural Heart Possess a minimum of five years' clinical exposure in the medical field in the Cardiology environment. Medical Device industry supporting Clinical and Medical Affairs, strongly preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required; SalesForce experience preferred.

This is a Program direct-support position and requires a technical understanding of piece part electronic components and their assembly level applications.  This candidate will transition into a key leadership position in the supporting program Obsolescence Integrated Product Team and will drive issue resolution for situations involving obsolescence.  

The selected candidate will perform and/or assist in the performance of Parts Engineering, Components Engineering or Applications Engineering tasks supporting programs in the Proposal, System Design Description, Low Rate Initial Production, Production and Support phases. Position will require day to day interface with Designers, Contracts, Estimating, Supply Chain, Program Management, and other disciplines.

What You Will Do: 

• Understand and/or generate a program statement of work (SOW) and other defined customer component application requirements. 

• Develop and/or sustain a proactive Obsolescence Management process to deliver cost saving obsolescence mitigation strategies and solutions. 

• Drive resolution through support or execution of lifetime buys, selections of alternate parts, redesign efforts or other mitigation strategies and will facilitate and support contract negotiations, basis of estimates, and supplier statements of work for proposal efforts. 

• Interact with Program and customer leadership on a regular basis to communicate status of mitigation strategies. 

• Conduct trade study analysis help identify cost effective obsolescence driven cut in points for proposed unit redesigns.

Qualifications You Must Have:  

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience with any combination of the following:

• Experience with proactive and reactive component obsolescence management methodologies. 

• Experience with data collection, analysis, and presentation skills to adequately discuss system impact of component obsolescence issues. 

• Experience with project management working with schedules, costs, and integration of stakeholder needs throughout the obsolescence process. 

• Financial and Contract Management experience with proposals, BOE, EVMs, SOWs, CLINs and CDRLs. 

• Experience with BOM (Bill of Material) development and management for developmental and production programs. 

• Risk and Opportunity business case analysis experience supporting sustainment vs redesign cut in decisions. 

Qualifications We Prefer:  

• Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or other related science or engineering discipline 

• Ability to navigate multiple complex processes and tools. 

• Understanding of the application of technical theories and concepts as they apply to electronic components and the parts management field. 

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and hierarchy definition. 

• Knowledge of component failure modes by commodity 

• Knowledge of Component MIL drawings, standards, test specifications, and associated QPLs and QMLs 

• Knowledge of component selection, screening, qualification, and derating for use in military, and aerospace flight applications 

• Knowledge of analog design and analysis, general knowledge of digital circuitry and interfaces 

• Excellent communication skills to interface with other Integrated Product Team members, including Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Quality, Operations, and Supplier Engineering.  

• Capable of supporting regular customer interactions including but not limited to leadership engagements, responding to proposal requests and contract negotiations. 

• Outstanding organizational, presentation and technical skills. 

• Ability to multi-task and appropriately prioritize responsibilities. 

• Willingness to support occasional travel.
