The Role We Want You For
As a Project Superintendent with SEI, you will be based on the construction project site. In this role you will be responsible for overall project execution, quality, safety, and schedule of various scopes. These scopes may include structural, mechanical, electrical, and other trades related to building and process systems on highly complex projects nationwide. These responsibilities will cover the full life cycle of the project including planning, construction, start up, testing, commissioning, and turnover. - Coordinate with preconstruction, design, engineering, procurement, operations, safety, quality, and all other project site management team members to assure that there are always adequate project resources.

Requirements
- B.S. in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent trade experience with progression to management levels, preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training or certifications in construction or industrial trades is preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in construction, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Ability to supervise construction employees and subcontractors to accomplish work within budget and schedule constraints.
- Experience in industrial projects such as manufacturing facilities, power plants, refineries.
- In-depth knowledge of industrial construction processes, heavy equipment operation, and structural systems.
- Strong project safety record and commitment to safety and quality.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to travel or relocate to jobsite.
- Creative and results-oriented with a sense of urgency.
- Strong understanding of productivity tracking and industry standard production rates.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

Serving part-time as a Navy Reserve Sailor, your duties will be carried out during your scheduled drilling and training periods. During monthly drilling, Information Professional Officers in the Navy Reserve typically work at a location close to their homes.
For annual training, Information Professional Officers may serve anywhere in the world, whether on a ship at sea or at bases and installations on shore.

- Prepare plans, reports, drawings, cross-sections, specifications, and other construction documents
- Support the design and delivery of public infrastructure projects from concept through construction
- Review engineering drawings, survey data, and field information to develop accurate design solutions
- Assist with drainage, roadway, and traffic control design work
- Prepare technical reports, permitting documents, and related project deliverables
- Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers on technical direction, quality control, and project execution
- Contribute to public and private sector transportation projects that shape local communities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 2+ years of roadway or transportation design experience
- Proficiency with Bentley Power InRoads and/or OpenRoads Designer
- E.I. / E.I.T. required or strongly preferred depending on level
- P.E. license preferred, or clear path toward licensure
- DOT project experience strongly preferred
- Strong technical writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a fast-paced engineering team
