This role reports directly to the Vice President of Operations and leads a core production team and value stream within the manufacturing operation. What You’ll Do

• Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors, engineers, leads, and technicians to achieve safety, quality, and delivery goals

• Own the performance of a production area or value stream, ensuring schedules, throughput, and operational targets are consistently met

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations while balancing production priorities, team development, and operational discipline

• Drive Lean and 5S initiatives to improve flow, reduce waste, and strengthen operational efficiency

• Partner closely with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to remove bottlenecks and improve overall production execution

• Use data and KPIs (OEE, scrap, downtime, labor utilization) to identify opportunities and lead process improvements

• Manage staffing, training, and workforce planning to support production demand and long-term operational stability

• Champion a culture of accountability, engagement, and operational excellence across the team

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years of experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing, including leadership of production teams

• Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing principles, standard work, and continuous improvement

• Proven ability to lead teams and manage schedules, resources, and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

• Experience working with ERP systems and production performance metrics

• A hands-on leader who leads by example and brings energy, structure, and accountability to the manufacturing floor

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related technical field

Salary Expectations:

-140-160K base

-15% bonus (10-20% range over 5 years)

Keys:

-MUST have Aerospace Destructive Testing experience (AS9100, NADCAP, etc.)

-100 employee facility with 1 direct report. This is really a "process" manager with very high customer and federal inspection authority interaction.

-MUST be personable and have previous customer facing experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide overall leadership for the site's Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring full compliance with AS9100, Nadcap (applicable disciplines), customer, prime, and regulatory requirements while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Maintain and expand required accreditations, certifications, and customer approvals to support business growth and competitive positioning in the aerospace sector.
• Lead audit preparation and execution (internal, customer, regulatory, certification body, and Nadcap); oversee root cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions, and timely resolution of non-conformances.
• Drive quality performance metrics, including improved First Time Right (FTR), reduced cost of poor quality, and implementation of KPIs aligned with business goals; apply risk-based thinking and structured improvement tools (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, PFMEA).
• Build and mentor quality teams to enhance awareness, accountability, technical skills, and compliance; ensure effective training, personnel certification (including relevant DT standards where applicable), and robust use of quality tools and systems.
• Collaborate with operations leadership and broader quality teams to align site performance with customer expectations, corporate standards, and industry objectives.

Required Qualifications / Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of progressive experience in special processes, DT, materials testing, or a closely related regulated aerospace environment.
• Proven hands-on experience in AS9100 and/or ISO/IEC 17025 environments; strong preference for Nadcap (AC7004 or relevant disciplines) knowledge and involvement.
• Demonstrated auditing expertise (internal, customer, regulatory).
• Strong background in root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies (e.g., 8D).
• Ability to develop, implement, and maintain quality systems, procedures, and process controls.
• Solid project management, organizational, and prioritization skills with experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel for data analysis/reporting, Word, PowerPoint).
• Effective collaborator with strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to evolving regulatory/quality demands.

Position Summary: Plans, directs, and coordinates the work activities and resources necessary for manufacturing products in accordance with cost, quality, and quantity specification. Reviews processing schedules or production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, or duty assignments, considering budgetary limitations and time constraints. Supervises the daily operation of a machine shop, repair/fabrication facility and electronic or mechanical assembly personnel in the repair and/or manufacturing of mechanical systems, fabrication of engineering models and assemblies, electronic or other hardware in accordance with engineering specifications, quality requirements, within cost/budget restraints and on schedule. Ensures continuous efficient production in desired quantity and quality. Assures that there are adequate materials, supplies, tools, and equipment. Monitors work in process to ensure efficient flow. Assist in determining manpower and skills needed so those schedules are maintained. Reviews operations and confers with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems. Coordinates or recommends procedures for facility or equipment maintenance or modification, including the replacement of machines.

• Check production output according to specifications.
• Submit reports on performance and progress.
• Coordinates and monitors manufacturing projects from initiation through delivery.
• Identifies and allocates project resources.
• Ensures projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Resolves issues and contributes to the business unit/area development.
• Monitors and maintains department productivity and budgets.
• Ensure effective employee relations. Provide employee coaching and development. Makes employment decisions. Resolve employee issues through problem resolution.
• Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas. Work to continuously improve in all areas.

• Update drafts based on client feedback and ensure precision, consistency, and high-quality work product

Join our team as a Property Field Inspection Claim Specialist and showcase your expertise in handling accident and weather-related claims for homeowners, commercial properties, and large losses.    

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled professional to contribute to our dynamic team. You will be the first point of contact to meet with our insureds, explain coverage, estimate damages, and help them through the claims process while providing Remarkable service.    

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site inspections and assessments of property damages for both residential and commercial claims
• Collaborate with policyholders, insurance agents, and other involved parties to gather information and resolve claims efficiently 
• May occasionally require interacting with parties who express strong emotions or concerns about ongoing inspections or claim resolutions 
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the claims process, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
• Gather necessary evidence, document findings, and prepare detailed reports to support the claims handling process
• Investigate and adjust both personal and commercial property claims with exposures up to $500,000
• Evaluate coverage and policy terms to determine the validity of claims and ensure compliance with local regulations
• Negotiate and settle claims within the authorized limits, considering policy provisions, industry standards, and company guidelines

This is a Remote-Field position in which you will work from home and utilize a mobile office/vehicle for in-person appointments. Although the primary work location is in the field, with a commutable distance from home, there will be opportunities for virtual work to be completed at home. Additionally, there may be occasions where you will be required to travel outside your assigned area to assist in other territories.  

Hours of operation are continually evaluated and may change based on business need. Successful candidates are able and willing to work flexible schedules and may be asked to work overtime and/or irregular hours.   

Competitive candidates must demonstrate:

• Experience as a Property Field Inspection Claim Specialist in the insurance industry, specifically in property claims
• Strong knowledge of property insurance policies, coverage and claim handling practices
• Knowledge of both residential and commercial building construction
• Familiarity with local regulations and compliance requirements in your assigned territory
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, agents, and other stakeholders
• Proven effective communication skills to handle difficult/emotional conversations with a customer-minded focus
• Proven ability to assess damages, estimate repair costs, and negotiate settlements
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
• Proficient in using claims management software and other relevant tools 
• Physical agility to allow for: frequent lifting, carrying and climbing a ladder; ability to navigate roofs at various heights for inspection of both residential and commercial structures; ability to crawl in tight spaces
• May be required to complete Rope and Harness Safety Training.
• A valid driver's license is required

Preferred:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
• Experience in handling complex or high-value claims
• Construction background
• Water mitigation inspection experience
• Xactimate, XactContents

• Employees must successfully complete all required training, including applicable licensing exam(s), Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) checks, and background checks required of various state(s).

• Potential starting salary range: $64,965.62 - $104,056.00 / annually
  • Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience
