Primary Responsibilities:

• Support structural design efforts for facility and infrastructure projects. Typical projects range from a few thousand to several million dollars.
• Perform structural analysis and calculations for concrete and steel structures, foundations for heavy machinery, structural steel frames for high-bay warehouses, pipe racks, crane rail supports, etc.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and design staff to deliver accurate, efficient designs
• Use CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc) to develop and review drawings

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering
• Knowledge of building codes, safety requirements and environmental regulations
• Ability to perform complex structural analysis and calculations
• Prior U.S. work experience on heavy industrial and/or plant processing facilities
• PE or EIT preferred.

About your role as a Cook:   

You will prepare, season, and cook food according to tested recipes for residents, visitors, and employees.  Great care goes into every meal for our residents, and you will play a big role in providing residents with a great dining experience.  

Your Responsibilities as a Cook on our team:     

- Responsible for cleanliness of large equipment in preparation and serving areas.    

- Plans cooking schedule so food is ready at serving time.   

- Maintains quality of products throughout preparation and serving by means of routine temperature checks and taste tests.    

- Sets up food in steam tables and delivers more food as needed.    

- Maintains portion control in preparation and serving.    

- Checks left-over perishables in refrigerator and freezer and arranges to use them.    

- Perform other related duties as assigned.    

About You: You have great customer service skills, and are flexible, compassionate, and dependable. Previous experience working in an Assisted Living or Memory Care Community is a plus, but all are encouraged to apply!       

You also have:   

- One to two years institutional or restaurant experience.

As a Van Delivery Driver you will be responsible for courteous, on-time, and accurate deliveries of products with a variable daily route. This role will operate the van in a professional and safe manner demonstrating attention to detail and safe work habits. Additional assistance with store operations before or after completion of route.

What does a day to day look like?

Delivery:

• Accurately locates and picks orders in-store for Wholesale customers
• Builds and maintains good customer relationships.
• Keep our customer happy with accurate, timely, deliveries of GFS products.
• Performs daily pre/post trip inspection of vehicle and equipment.

In Store:

• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer purchases through the point of sale. Ensure security of assets including cash, checks, and merchandise by following policies and procedures.
• Accurately receive and merchandise products, ensuring proper rotation and product quality, end cap and planogram execution, top stock, freezer, cooler and backroom organization.

Overview

The Dayton International Peace Museum seeks to create a part-time Administrative & Development Assistant position to provide essential organizational, communication, and donor-relations support. This role will enhance the efficiency of the Executive Director and strengthen the museum’s administrative and development capacity as we continue to expand programming, partnerships, and community engagement.

This position is anticipated at 10–15 hours per week, with flexible scheduling based on the needs of the museum.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Administrative Support

● Manage the Executive Director’s calendar, including meeting scheduling, coordination, and follow-up.

● Monitor, prioritize, and respond to general email inquiries on behalf of the museum.

● Assist with organizing and maintaining digital and physical files, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.

● Provide operational support as needed, including assistance with visitor inquiries, tours, and internal communication.

2. Donor Stewardship & Development Support

● Prepare and mail acknowledgment letters, thank-you notes, and donor correspondence in a timely and professional manner.

● Assist with maintaining donor records and tracking contributions.

● Support stewardship efforts by helping coordinate communication with donors, sponsors, and partners.

3. Communications & Inquiry Management

● Respond to public inquiries regarding programs, rentals, tours, and museum events with professionalism and accuracy.

● Draft routine correspondence, emails, and informational materials as needed.

● Assist with maintaining internal and public-facing calendars, ensuring clarity and consistency.

4. General Operational Support

● Provide direct assistance to the Executive Director based on emergent needs.

● Assist with preparation, logistics, and documentation for programs, meetings, and special events.

● Support the smooth functioning of the museum through general administrative duties as requested.

Preferred Qualifications

● Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail.

● Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

● Proficiency with digital tools, email, and basic office software (Google Workspace preferred).

● Ability to work independently, exercise discretion, and manage sensitive information.

● Previous experience in a nonprofit, administrative, museum, or development setting is advantageous but not required.

Schedule & Compensation
