This Director, Nursing supervises, evaluates, and holds accountable the ongoing performance of the nursing staff based on the facility’s operational pillars. Maintains structures and processes that ensure patient centered care and supports the development of staff through mentoring and stewardship. Supports work redesign and quality improvement using evidenced base practice to achieve clinical excellence. The Director, Nursing is held fiscally responsible for the departments operating budgets and administrative functions. Works Collaboratively with clinical leaders and other Directors to lead initiatives with positive outcomes. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary and QualificationsPart-Time Ultrasound Technologist

Your tasks and responsibilities as an Ultrasound Technologist (or Sonographer) include but are not limited to:
- Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe, competent manner
- Accurately perform sonogram examinations in a timely manner
- Be responsible for recording and processing ultrasound images
- Maintain statistical results for quality improvement
- Maintain proactive and effective communication with radiologists regarding any unusual clinical findings, history, and/or test results
Qualifications
· A two-year Allied Health degree or successful completion of a 12-month CAAHEP approved program
· Valid ARDMS certification required: RVT (Registered Vascular Tech) or ARDMS AB (abdomen specialty) or ARDMS OB/GYN within 1 year
· Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
· 1-3 years previous experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
· Other skills needed: organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relations, clerical, basic computer, mathematical, analytical, grammar/spelling, reading, comprehension of written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions
