Provide engineering services in support of systems and equipment associated with research efforts within an academic or research unit or laboratory. Specific duties will be determined based on assignment and unit needs. • Assist engineers and technicians with mechanical/electrical testing
• Assist engineers and technicians with data analysis and reporting
• Operate testing and machine equipment
• Perform basic laboratory maintenance

Job Duty 1 -
Participate in the design, installation and testing of systems and components.

Develop engineering project schedules, plans, and specifications for systems and components.

Conduct analyses of system performance; prescribe corrective action where required.

Troubleshoot systems; may involve calibration and repair work.

Prepare drawings, schematic diagrams and other documentation associated with components and systems.

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering field, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Other Required Qualifications
Valid Driver's license This is a temporary position, limited to 1300 hours or 12 consecutive months, and subject to ACA and GT guidelines for temporary employment.

Responsibilities:

RN - NICU, full-time nights

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is a 28-bed level III Baby Friendly Certified unit located on the 3rd floor of the North Tower adjacent to the OB Emergency Department and the Labor and Delivery Department. The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit provides exceptional care to our patients and community by maintaining a close working relationship with our interdisciplinary team. This team includes Cardiology services, ROP services, Respiratory Therapist, Speech and Occupational Therapist and Children's Hospital of Atlanta. The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is comprised of a well diverse culture, multiple skills levels and patient acuities with the support of designated Charge nurses, Unit Based Educator, energetic Clinical Manager and excellent teamwork. The nurses have multiple professional growth opportunities by participating in Unit committees, Nursing Shared Governance, the Career Advancement Program and routine Educational Trainings.

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
