The Medical Assistant performs clinical duties such as discussing symptoms and gathering and inputting information into the electronic medical records system, taking vital signs, giving injections, performing diagnostic tests, collecting specimens, drawing blood, sterilizing and cleaning equipment, and maintaining examination rooms at an outpatient care site.

Required:

• Successful completion of MA school/training program or a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or 5+ years of experience and approval from Provider
• Phlebotomy experience
• Medication/vaccine administration experience
• CPR Certified
• This role is considered patient facing and is part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB

Preferred:

• Certified or Registered – (Arizona, Indiana, and South Carolina candidates require Medical Assistant Certification or Registration)
• Value Based Care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience.

Qualifications

• Possess a current RN licensure as required by state regulations.

• Advanced Degree, plan to receive an advanced degree, or knowledge and skills associated with an advanced degree required unless otherwise specified by state regulation.
• Five years of experience in an inpatient hospital setting.
• Two years of recent (within the last 5 years) Nursing Management experience, with responsibilities including 24-hour accountability, FTE management, policy, procedure, and budgetary oversight, as well as conducting disciplinary action.
• May be required to work weekdays and/or weekends, evenings and/or night shifts.
• May be required to work on religious and/or legal holidays on scheduled days/shifts.

The Pool Traveling Pharmacy Technician 2 will be assigned a schedule to cover 3 locations in the Daytona area (Port Orange, Orange City and Ormond Beach). The Pharmacy Technician retrieves, counts, and measures drugs. Assists Pharmacist in price-checking and restocking of drugs. Accesses, inputs, and retrieves prescription information from computer. Performs Pharmacy calculations, such as days supply for insulins, etc. Refers physicians' calls and any medical questions to pharmacist. May operate a cash register. Decisions are typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction. Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion.

Required Qualifications

• Will travel based on assignment to the Daytona Area Pharmacies
• Must have an active license with the Board of Pharmacy in the appropriate state
• This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana/Senior Bridge's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
• Ability to be on your feet and work different stations within a pharmacy (Data Entry, Production, Cash Register, Phone calls (inbound and outbound) and other assignments as directed by the pharmacist)

• High School Diploma or GED
• National certification preferred (ex: PTCB, NHA)
