OBJECTIVE:

- Analyze malfunctions and repair all two and four stroke engine driven equipment as required to ensure proper working condition for the customer

Position Summary:
Responsible for managing the on-site operations and installation of sewer, water, and storm drain projects, directing and training field personnel, and demonstrating effective communication with project managers, superintendents, and other governing agencies to ensure on-time and on budget productivity. Oversee multiple job sites and have a working knowledge of current project status and issues while building and maintaining strong customer relationships through highly- responsive service, reliability, and quality work.
Qualifications:
* Specific experience in underground wet utility construction.
* Specific experience in removal, installation, and repair of underground wet utility pipelines and structures.
* Experienced safety monitor with a full understanding of confined space and trench safety standards.
* Able to read and understand plans and specs with accuracy.
* Clear understanding of the scope of work and ensure that any work done outside the scope of work is approved by the customer as well as additional payments for the additional work.
* Able to control labor, material, supply, and equipment cost to assure the job is completed on schedule and within budget.
* Assure that only required amounts of sand, gravel and other materials are used on the job. Plan and monitor the work so material is not wasted.
* Each week, plan the next week's job activities in order to determine the number of crew members needed each day to complete the work, Schedule deliveries of materials, supplies, and equipment in advance.
* Accurately complete weekly timecards, daily reports, etc.
* Able to cooperate and coordinate with other trades on the job site.
