  • Able to assist in the creation and presentation of content to various levels of leadership, efficiently work with multiple functional teams, supplier teams, and Program/Project Managers and exert some influence on peers and internal customers.
  • Support/coordinate internal and external surveillance audits and DCMA surveillance reviews, and integrated baseline reviews
  • Ensure full compliance with corporate policies, with particular focus on implementation of the NG Earned Value Management System

Basic Qualifications:

  • 9+ years of experience in Business Management with Bachelor's degree OR - 7+ years of experience with a Master's
  • Experience with Microsoft Project and the development of an Integrated Master Schedule
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications
  • Full understanding Earned Value Management (EVM) practices and the ability to support implementation on programs with varying contract types
  • Experience in supporting Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs) and DCMA Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSRs)

  • Experience with Deltek Open Plan and Acumen Fuse

Primary Level Salary Range: $112,600.00 - $169,000.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Duties and Responsibilities:


•       Prepare documents from forms/templates and based on client-provided and attorney-provided materials, including preparing patent and trademark application documents for filing.

•       Organize and upload documents for e-filing with various patent & trademark offices.

•       Review Office Actions and other communications from patent & trademark offices and prepare response templates for attorney completion.

•       Correspond with clients regarding the status of applications and other matters.

•       Coordinate the transmittal of documents needing signatures (i.e., declarations and assignments).

•       Monitor attorney dockets for approaching due dates.

•       Work closely with the docketing staff and office services to ensure all dates are docketed.

•       Maintain precise follow-ups and reminders.

•       Prepare Information Disclosure Statements (IDS) for filing with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, including obtaining copies of patents and articles for submitting with IDSs.

Qualifications:


The ideal candidate should work well in a professional, team, and fast paced environment, have strong attention to detail, and possess the ability to multitask in order to meet deadlines. Candidates with patent prosecution experience and candidates with minimal experience and a recent paralegal degree will be considered. The candidate should have an excellent technology skill set including a proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, and ideally, have familiarity with Foundation IP, Anaqua, or other IP docketing software, and/or time and billing software.
