The Opportunity
The School of Social Work in the College of Health Professions and Sciences at the University of Central Florida (UCF) invites applications for one 12-month instructor whose primary assignments will be teaching and field placement in the BSW and MSW programs (both online and campus based) while participating in meaningful service at the school, college, university, and community levels. The position is assigned to the main Orlando campus with a projected start date of Fall 2026.
The School of Social Work is recognized regionally and nationally for the superior quality of its educational offerings and its contributions to clinical social work, health care, scholarship, and service to our community. The school has 34 full-time faculty, 14 staff, numerous adjunct faculty, and over 900 students. We offer a BSW and an MSW program. There are various campus based and online tracks in the MSW program.
The College of Health Professions and Sciences is home to three schools, one department, and six centers and institutes and is a leader in creating positive community change by building partnerships that transcend traditional disciplinary boundaries. The college is a core member of the UCF Academic Health Sciences Center along with the existing College of Nursing and College of Medicine. We are seeking an individual who can demonstrate effective engagement in an environment where colleagues and students come from many backgrounds and identities, as well as someone who can demonstrate commitment to equitable and inclusive teaching practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from a CSWE-accredited program.
At least one year of experience with field social work education as a teacher/instructor, field instructor or supervisor.
Preferred Qualifications:
Teaching experience in social work; both online and campus based.
Two years of post MSW social work practice experience.
Active status as a qualified supervisor for registered social work interns.

The Opportunity:
The Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating day-to-day facility operations and ensuring all scheduled events are executed smoothly and professionally. This position manages event scheduling and booking, monitors facility communications, fields customer inquiries, and ensures all facility spaces are prepared according to client requirements. The Opportunity
The Burnett School of Biomedical Sciences (BSBS) at the University of Central Florida (UCF), College of Medicine, invites outstanding applicants for a position as Instructor of Medicine. This non-tenure earning position will consist of laboratory instruction and supervising teaching assistants in the undergraduate Physiology teaching labs in the Burnett School on the main campus. Other aspects of the position can include mentoring students, leading undergraduate honors in the major projects, and service at the department, college, or university level. The Opportunity:
The Insurance Eligibility/Verification Specialist I supports clinical operations by managing insurance verification, eligibility, and essential administrative tasks. This role is a key point of contact for patient financial navigation and requires a strict commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of Protected Health Information (PHI).
Responsibilities:
Verify the insurance eligibility for patients and analyze policy coverage in order to maintain patient accounts in EHR system.
Determine deductibles, co-payments, and co-insurance for students and patients in participating insurance plans.
Verify that the insurance on file for patient appointments is active.
Update accounts with inactive insurance and contact patients for additional information.
Receive and verify patient insurance via multiple sources (in-person, phone, email, Qualtrics, kiosk, International Insurance Pool) and determine network status.
Collect the payment from patients for student health fees, co-pays, and prior balances. Perform applicable system searches when necessary to determine student status.
Assist with the appointments/referrals for departments and serve as the liaison between participating insurance plans and patients. Answer telephone calls. Greet patients and visitors, and direct them to the appropriate office in Student Health Services.
Confirm patient's medical insurance coverage to arrange for other services as needed within the assigned specialty Pod (e.g. laboratory, primary care, OB/GYN) with participating plans.
Perform other duties as assigned including but not limited to the timely completion of all required university and college training.

The Opportunity:
UCF Information Technology (UCF IT) is seeking a Cloud Computing Engineer I to join the Infrastructure team and apply technical expertise to maintain UCF's cloud computing environment. The Cloud Computing Engineer I will support cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, VMware, and Google Cloud, with a focus on software-defined networking and zero-trust architectures.
The Cloud Computing Engineer I will follow documentation and best practices, consult with internal customers on new projects and implementations, and collaborate with multiple teams and departments during new Azure cloud initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Respond to service requests and incidents related to Azure cloud infrastructure. Fulfill routine infrastructure requests including virtual machine provisioning, storage allocation, and network configurations. Troubleshoot basic issues and escalate complex problems to senior engineers as appropriate.
Perform routine infrastructure builds and deployments in Azure, including virtual machines, virtual networks, storage accounts, and other cloud resources. Follow established templates, runbooks, and best practices to ensure consistent and secure deployments across environments.
Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and cost metrics using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and related tools. Build and maintain dashboards to visualize key performance indicators. Alert appropriate teams when thresholds are exceeded or anomalies are detected.
Use and help maintain script repositories for common Azure functions using PowerShell, Terraform, and other Infrastructure as Code tools. Execute automation scripts for routine tasks, contribute to script improvements, and document procedures for team use.
Adhere to UCF Infrastructure ITIL processes, such as request and change management procedures, ensuring all planned changes are properly reviewed, documented, and communicated. Coordinate with stakeholders to minimize disruption and ensure smooth implementation of changes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of cloud configurations, procedures, standards, and operational guidelines. Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing initiatives by creating and updating technical documentation in the team wiki and knowledge base.
Assist with cloud security and compliance tasks, including reviewing access permissions, supporting audit requests, and helping to remediate findings from security assessments. Follow established security policies and best practices for Azure environments.

Knights Experience Team (kNEXT):
The University of Central Florida's (UCF's) the Knights Experience Team (kNEXT) primarily provides customer service to the Finance Business Centers (FBCs) and the Human Resources Business Centers (HRBC's) employees, assisting with various tasks as needed. kNEXT also provides administrative support services to staff across all colleges and divisions of the University. kNEXT is designed to reduce the administrative burden on individual colleges, consolidate transaction-based functions, create economies of scale, and improve backroom process efficiency so the colleges can better focus resources on their mission.

The Opportunity:
The Travel & Procurement Specialist acts as the primary point of contact for all procurement-related and travel-related activities. The Travel & Procurement Specialist supports Travel & Procurement Coordinators within the Finance Business Centers (FBCs) by acting as experts on procurement-related and travel-related processes and procedures and provide training.
Responsibilities:
Support requests for the procurement of goods and services ensuring applicable policies and regulations are adhered to and transactions are processed timely and properly reflect the receipt of goods or services.
Research suppliers and obtain quotes for goods and services, as needed. Identify and review applicable contracts or the need for a Waiver of Competition and Sole Source Certification in accordance with policies and regulations.
Initiate and review requisitions, manage purchase orders, and initiate change orders, as needed. Create receipts and supplier invoices or purchasing card transactions to ensure timely payments.
Reconcile/verify purchasing card transactions ensuring applicable policies and regulations are adhered to and transactions are allowable, required documentation is provided, and transactions are accurate.
Support travel requests creating and reviewing Spend Authorizations and Expense Reports. Assist with travel arrangements, receipt/documentation collection, and travel advance and reimbursement requests to ensuring applicable policies and regulations are adhered to.
Support Travel & Procurement Coordinators within the Finance Business Centers (FBCs) as experts on procurement-related and travel-related processes and procedures.
Continuously review and improve processes to increase operational efficiency and effectiveness. Support travel and procurement training efforts.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent and (2+) years of relevant experience or combination of relevant comparable education and experience pursuant toFla. Stat. 112.219(6).

3+ years of experience supporting purchasing, AP/AR, and/or customer service-related activities.
Working knowledge of financial and purchasing rules, regulations, processes, and procedures.

The University of Central Florida College of Graduate Studies oversees, supports, and advocates for over 10,000 students across 200+ master's, doctoral, specialist, and certificate programs. Responsibilities:
Review, evaluate, and process graduate-level transfer credit requests. Resolve GPS (degree audit) related issues regarding graduate transfer credit.
Evaluate and process Programs of Study/eForms. Ensure GPS (degree audit) course substitutions/course moves comply with the Catalog Year/Requirement Term, as well as with graduate policy.
Process late Intent to Graduate (ITG) requests and communicate with college contacts at each phase of the graduation certification process. Attend and support each commencement ceremony. Conduct the final certification process each semester and award degrees once all requirements are met.

Upward Bound Project ACE:
The Upward Bound Project ACE (Achieving Academic and Career Excellence) program is designed to provide opportunities for fundamental support to participants in their preparation for college entrance. The goal is to increase the rate at which participants complete high school education and graduate from institutions of post-secondary (college, technical) education. Tracks students' academic progress, including advising, course selection, and graduation requirements, while developing and monitoring Individual Academic Plans (IAPs). Reviews report cards and academic performance to create tailored academic success plans for students.
Designs and delivers a college readiness curriculum, including workshops on college access, financial literacy, career exploration, and family engagement. Researches and stays updated on higher education trends to enhance evidence-based decision-making for student success.
Maintains accurate student records, updates participation data in the Blumen database, and documents student involvement in project services. Analyzes data and generates monthly reports to inform the Manager of program progress and areas for improvement.
Implements recruitment, orientation, interviews, and intake processes to enroll the required number of students as mandated by the Department of Education. Establishes and maintains relationships with target schools, community stakeholders, and families to support outreach efforts.
Coordinates and participates in academic, social, and cultural events such as college yours, community service, and leadership activities. Develops and supervises the student leadership activities. Develops and supervises the student leadership committee to enhance student engagement and personal development.
Assists in planning and executing both the academic year and summer programs to ensure high-quality student experiences. Develops and distributes a monthly program newsletter to keep students and parents informed of upcoming opportunities and achievements.
