Responsibilities:

• Defend employers in employment-related litigation

• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
• Provide counseling to employers on compliance with state and federal employment laws

Qualifications:

Salary and Other Compensation:

Accountant II

Job Summary

A growing, well-established organization is adding an Accountant II to its structured accounting team. The group has strong tenure, supportive leadership, and a collaborative culture. This role offers excellent work-life balance, flexibility, and long-term stability.

The Accountant II will assist with for month-end close, general ledger reconciliation, expense reporting, and P&L review and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile various general ledger accounts monthly (e.g., payables, intercompany, producer/carrier accounts)
• Prepare expense reports journal entries
• Complete monthly bank reconciliations and handle related banking transactions
• Conduct special research or analysis projects as needed
• Compile supporting documentation for external auditors and tax partners
• Partner with Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, and Controller on ad-hoc tasks
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and upcoming system enhancements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience

WHAT YOU BRING
