MHS is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. In this unique and life-changing career, couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students living in the home. Flex Houseparents play a vital role in creating a structured, family-like environment that fosters students’ academic, emotional, and social development so they can reach their full potential.

Job Summary and Qualifications

JOB SUMMARY 

Will utilize the nursing process to independently deliver nursing care to patients in order to achieve quality outcomes and communicates need for guidance/supervision based on self-assessment of strengths and limitations.

Market Float Pool RNs are scheduled in accordance with the Staffing and Scheduling- Nursing, RN Floating - Healthy Workplace Environment (HWE) and Attendance policies. Requirements of RN unit based, facility based, or system based pools are based on which pool they are in.

Resource and Non-RN Resource Pool RN’s are required to work the following:

Hours per Pay Period:  

Full Time:Minimum of 36 hours per week. 4 weekend shifts per scheduling cycle (28 days)

PRN:Based on Tier Level Agreement

Holiday Requirements:  

Full Time/PRN:Two Major and Two Minor holidays for the year.

Floating:  

Market Float Pool employees will be required to float to all Las Palmas Del Healthcare System Facilities. Market Float Pool Nurses will be scheduled in units in which they have competencies. Market Float Pool Nurse can be placed in a unit below their competency level.
