Millennium is hiring a Fire Protection Engineer to work full time on site in McLean, VA. ALL candidates MUST have an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly to qualify for consideration.
Seeking a Fire Protection Engineer to support one of our Intelligence Community customers to coordinate fire protection requirements for various projects, bring a SME level component to answer RFIs, perform inspections as necessary and communicate effectively to senior leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Identify potential fire hazard(s). Takes action or makes recommendations to eliminate hazards.
- Monitor, identify, and help resolve ODNI fire protection and life safety facilities issues and emergency situations.
- Advise on the purchase, modification, installation, maintenance and operation of fire protection systems
- Ensure fire protection features and systems are in operational condition; reviews testing, maintenance and inspection reports and identifies follow up actions needed.
- Develop scopes of work, criteria and provide expertise for fire protection system design and construction, reviewing designs and submittals and performing acceptance testing.
- Manage new construction and renovation projects to validate compliance with project designs and specifications and applicable codes and standards, document and convey deficiencies for correction.
- Investigates fire alarms, supervisory alarms and troubles to determine cause and provide oversight for resolution. Prepares reports as required.
- Investigates fires, coordinating with ODNI AHJ and responding fire department on fire investigation to determine cause of origin. Write fire incident reports and maintains records.
- Actively participates in fire drills.
Qualifications:
- Must have an active TS/SCI with a Polygraph to qualify for consideration
- Bachelor's Degree plus 10 years of experience
- Registered fire protection engineer, preferably licensed in Maryland or Virginia
- Previous experience in the construction of fire suppression and fire alarm systems
- Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills, including the demonstrated ability to interpret complex information from multiple sources.

Position Overview
As a Physician Assistant in our clinic, you will play a crucial role in helping patients achieve their weight loss goals through personalized care, consultation, injection therapy, education, and support. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients while working collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals and contribute to the success of our innovative weight loss programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' medical history, current health status, weight-related concerns, and goals.
- Collaborate with supervising physician and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized weight loss plans tailored to each patient's needs, preferences, and medical conditions.
- Perform procedures such as administering injections, prescribing medications, and managing medical devices as needed for weight management.
- Offer medical guidance and counseling to patients regarding injection therapy, behavior modification, and medication management for weight loss and weight maintenance.
- Monitor patients' progress regularly through follow-up appointments, track changes in weight, body composition, and overall health status, and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting patient assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and any pertinent communications with other healthcare providers.
- Advocate for patients' health and well-being by providing support, encouragement, and resources to empower them to achieve their weight loss goals.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant university program.
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- State licensure as a Physician Assistant.
- Proficiency in conducting comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical exams, and diagnostic tests related to weight management.
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' unique needs, preferences, and medical conditions.
- Previous experience in primary care, health and wellness, urgent care or emergency medicine, or a related specialty with a focus on weight management preferred.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care with empathy and respect.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trusting relationships with patients.
- Demonstrated knowledge of weight management principles, medications, nutrition, and behavior change techniques.
- Demonstrates capability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude, professionalism and productivity.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Willingness to stay updated on the latest research, guidelines, and advancements in the field of weight management.

Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $118,289.00 to $123,662.00 per year.
The posted salary range for this position takes into account various factors, including the candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations. Additionally, the salary offered within this range may be subject to a geographic adjustment, based on a specific city and state, and depending on the role. This adjustment would occur if authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
