As a Medical Assistant, you will support providers and ensure patients receive excellent care during their visit.

Key responsibilities include:

- Room patients and perform patient intake
- Obtain and document vital signs and medical histories
- Update patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Assist providers during exams and procedures
- Perform point-of-care testing within scope of certification
- Maintain exam rooms and medical supplies
- Clean and disinfect treatment rooms after visits
- Manage provider voicemail and EMR inbox messages
- Support pre-visit planning and patient flow
- Assist front desk with check-in, scheduling, and phones as needed
- Follow HIPAA guidelines and clinical protocols
- Assist with in-office procedures
- Contact Hospitals and gather required documentation when needed

Required

• High School Diploma or GED
• Graduate of an accredited healthcare program (MA, CNA, EMT, LPN) or equivalent experience
• Current BLS certification
• Strong computer skills
• Some Medical Assistant experience

Preferred

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
• 1–3 years of clinical experience
• Experience with Athenahealth EMR
• Experience in OBGYN, Family Medicine, or Pediatrics

?? Pay Range: $21 – $27 per hour

Physical Requirements
