As a Caravan Captain at Reliable Airlines, you will be part of the airline's team and report directly to the Chief Pilot. Your role will be critical in maintaining operational integrity and execution of cargo feeder operations within an exciting new air carrier seeking to efficiently move cargo and establish the future of remote operations.

Responsibilities

In your role as Part 135 Line Pilot, you will operate with the highest regard for safety, compliance, and customer service. Your role will be critical in ensuring each flight is conducted in full compliance of all applicable FAA regulations, aircraft limitations, and company procedures. As the Pilot in Command, you will be responsible to monitor the loading of cargo and ensure a comprehensive preflight and weight & balance is accomplished before each flight.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as Surgical Tech. Preferred experience as a CSFA or SA-C in diverse surgical specialties and proficiency with robotic and minimally invasive surgical
techniques.

Certifications: Certified Surgical First Assistant (CFSA) or Surgical Assistant-Certified (SA-C) required.


BLS - Basic Life Support required.
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred.

Responsibilities:

In this role you will support and assist the surgeons by preparing and providing instruments and equipment during surgical procedures in the Operating Room. You will works under the supervision of the surgeon and facilitate a safe, effective and orderly operating room to maximize patient safety. You must also be able to

  • Demonstrate the ability to problem-solve in relation to the procedure being performed.

  • Maintain current knowledge of various equipment, procedures and supplies.

  • Adheres to proper surgical procedures of aseptic technique and safety in the use of instruments and equipment.

  • Performs instrument counts prior to each procedure and maintains an accurate count of sponges, needles, and instruments during the procedure.

  • Secures and prepares all supplies and instruments required for surgical intervention before procedures.

  • Ensures the preparation and maintenance of the sterile field in the OR.

  • Prepares patient skin for surgical treatment.

  • Position and re-position patient during surgery.

  • Helps monitor patients during surgery.

  • Provide supportive care during the pre-operative phase.

  • Performs scrub functions.

  • Ensures that specimens are correctly handled and routed to the proper source.

  • Maintains current knowledge of anatomy/physiology and medications used intraoperatively.

  • Keeps current with developments in the field through participation in seminars, workshops and

  • publications. Follows all federal, state and departmental safety procedures.

Skills:
Scrub various types of basic surgical procedures: general, OB/gyn & urology

Qualifications:

HS Diploma or GED required
HS Diploma or GED plus short-term training in operating room setting

OR

a graduate of surgical technician certification from an accredited school or training program required.
Current BLS required at time of hire.
Familiarity with all surgical instruments and equipment. Working knowledge of sterile and aseptic technique.

Minimum of 2+ years experience in a hospital or outpatient operating room if not from an accredited training program.
