Position Summary

Under direct supervision of licensed personnel, the Patient Care Assistant is responsible for performing activities of daily living for patients and generally assist with the unit activities that support patient care in the Ortho/Neuro Unit at MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center. Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job

* Under the supervision of licensed personnel, performs patient care activities as identified on Patient Care Assistant competency checklist.

* Recognizes and reports changing patient care needs to the registered nurse.

* Documents findings and maintains privacy in patient's medical record in compliance with unit specific standards and systems.

  • 2+ to 7+ years harness design in aerospace/aircraft (satellite/rocket a plus).
  • SolidWorks proficiency; NX experience or openness to transition.
  • Demonstrated constrained routing in compact volumes.
  • Familiar with IPC/WHMA-A-620, AS9100 environments, and aerospace-grade connector families.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s preferred; Associate’s with strong relevant experience.
