Essential Job Duties:

• Provide day-to-day administrative support to attorneys and paralegals, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements.
• Draft, revise, proofread, and finalize legal correspondence and documents with a high level of accuracy.
• Maintain organized electronic client files, including uploading, naming, and managing documents, emails, and attachments.
• Assist with billing and invoicing processes, expense reporting, and time entry coordination.
• Initiate and process conflict checks, engagement letters, and new client onboarding materials.
• Track attorney expenses, receipts, and reimbursements in accordance with firm policies.
• Monitor attorney licensing, CLE requirements, and professional memberships.

• Provide backup support to other legal assistants during peak workloads or absences.

Practice Area Exposure May Include:

• Corporate: Entity formation documents, governance materials, contracts, and transaction support.
• Renewables Financing: Preparation and organization of financing documents for renewable energy projects, including loan agreements, tax equity structures, due diligence materials, closing binders, and coordination with lenders, developers, and regulatory entities.
• Financial Services (Float): Support across multiple financial services matters, including commercial lending, secured transactions, and regulatory filings; assist with loan documentation, UCC filings, closing coordination, and provide flexible coverage for various attorneys and practice groups as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• 1-2+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant or Legal Administrative Assistant in a law firm or corporate legal setting is required.
• Prior experience in one or more of the listed practice areas is required.
• Familiarity with legal document management and intake processes, including conflicts and new matter setup is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and shifting workloads with professionalism.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort learning new technology tools.
• Experience using iManage, Intapp, or similar legal support systems is a plus.

Position Benefits, Pay, and Schedule:

• Direct-hire opportunities with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, paid parental leave, 401(k), and paid time off.
• Full-time position located in downtown Minneapolis. Hybrid schedule available after training (4 days onsite, 1 day remote).
• Compensation range: $48,000 – $91,000 annually, depending on experience and practice area alignment.
• Standard business hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

What We’re Looking For

• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree (required)
• Active or eligible state licensure (multi-state licensing supported by PPG)
• Experience in long-term care or nursing home settings (preferred)
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Ability to work independently and adapt in fast-paced environments
• Able to lift/carry up to 15 lbs. as needed

Compensation

• Compensation: Providers are compensated based on a percentage of the revenue they generate through billing and collections. Based on 50 working weeks per year, estimated annual earnings range from $20,000–$70,000 per day per week worked (e.g., 1 day/week = $20,000–$70,000 annually; up to 5 days/week = $100,000–$350,000 annually). Actual earnings vary based on caseload, patient volume, services rendered, and billing and collection performance. A comprehensive overview of our compensation structure will be provided during the interview process.
