Position Snapshot/A Day in the Life: The Engineering Technician II performs routine drafting and technical engineering work in support of municipal infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include assisting with engineering design and planning, providing customer service, and performing technical office and field duties related to updating, maintaining, and analyzing the Public Works and Engineering Department's Geographic Information System (GIS) and utility infrastructure data. This position coordinates and conducts research, field data collection, and condition assessments of infrastructure assets, using GIS, database, and information management tools to support capital planning and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Engineering Technician II -This is the full journey level in the Engineering Technician series. Employees within this class are distinguished from the Engineering Technician I By the performance of the full range of duties as assigned including the moderately complex duties of drafting, office and field engineering work. Employees at this level receive only occasional instruction or assistance as new or unusual situations arise, and are fully aware of the operating procedures and policies of the work unit. About the Role:
Refactor Games is a AAA sports video game studio. We are developing the next generation of professional football (soccer) video games using Unreal Engine 5.
We are seeking a Game Designer - Economy to help design and balance the in-game economy for our AAA European football title developed in Unreal Engine 5. You’ll work on systems that define how players earn, spend, and progress through the game, ensuring a fun, fair, and engaging progression experience that supports long-term player engagement and economic health. Your work will influence reward structures, currency flows, seasonal content, and player motivation loops that keep players invested in the game.

Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in game design, including roles focused on economy, progression, or balancing systems (AAA or live service experience preferred).

We are seeking dynamic lecturers with a commitment to graduate education in computational science, data science, and software engineering to lead multiple courses each year. Salary range:

The current full-time salary range for this position is $75,301 - $199,722. Starting salary will be commensurate with highest degree, past college-level teaching experience, relevant industry experience and equity within the department.

The percentage of the appointment will vary, depending on the number of sections taught. Positions are typically part-time.
Instructors teaching one 3-5 unit course during summer sessions will normally be appointed at 11% time.
