The client is hiring a Project Manager for our Combat Mission Systems (CMS) business in Temple, TX. The Project Manager will be responsible for supporting the Bradley A4E1 program management team, by managing vehicle and hardware deliveries on time and within budget. This position is full-time onsite at our facility in Temple, TX and reports to the Bradley A4E1 Program Manager. The Quality Control Inspector 1 is responsible for following the M.C. Dean Quality Control (QC) Program to achieve and verify quality expectations for a durable and reliable installation. The Quality Control Officer is responsible for performing field inspections to ensure work is in compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance and conformance with project or contract specifications
- Conduct inspections in accordance with Quality Control Plan
- Conduct inspections to ensure adherence to applicable legal requirements
- Confer with Quality Assurance, Manager as appropriate
- Read blueprints and specifications
- Monitor operations to ensure that they meet specifications

- Participate in Follow-up Inspections continuously to insure professional workmanship, quality and safety in accordance with contract documents.
- Perform inspections on all work performed in detail, efficiently, and in conjunction with Owner/QC.
- Collect data, analyze for continuous improvement, and share with project team weekly.
- Participate in the daily Operational Risk Management (ORM) meetings ensuring Quality items/issues for the scope of the work are discussed and present at least 2-3 quality tips of the day relevant to the scope of work.
- Document daily QC reports
- Understand and follow all applicable quality system procedures, performing all assigned responsibilities outlined in the QMS.
- Perform Receiving (REC), First Article (FAI), In-Process (IP) and Final Inspections (FI) on electrical and mechanical assemblies visually and/or with inspection equipment.
- Immediately notify operators, or supervision of any non-conformances in products
- Perform all quality reporting requirements outlined in the MCD Quality Management System (including the inspection checklists, Data Collection Reports (PDCR), hold logs, discrepancy notices, waiver logs etc.) Identify for segregation nonconforming units following the MCD Nonconformance procedure for prefabricated and purchased products.
- Assist in the training of operators and provide guidance.
- Assist in the problem-solving process.
- Participate in the Daily ORM work briefings to represent the Quality Portion.
- Assist in root cause, corrective and preventive action development for systemic issues.
- Advise appropriate party of any corrective action to be taken.
- Coordinate with supervisor to ensure all shifts are covered appropriately in case of absence of an inspector.
Qualifications
Experience / Education Required:
- Associates Degree in Technical Discipline (may be substituted for quality related experience)
- At least 4 years hands-on experience in the electrical industry.
- To possess or have the ability to obtain a state issued Journeyman License within 6 months of hire
- Experience with reading and interpreting contractual requirements, drawings, BIM models, specifications, current NEC codes, NETA and other applicable standards

Position Summary
The Quality Specialist is responsible for ensuring manufactured products and processes meet stringent safety, regulatory, and customer requirements. WHO WE NEED
We are seeking a versatile and team-oriented Structural Project Engineer in our Structural Team, ideally located in the Syracuse or Albany, NY area, or at our Endwell, NY office. Candidates located outside the designated office locations may qualify for full remote work, subject to company policy. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering, with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. A PE is also required. Experience should include structural analysis, design, and detailing for concrete, steel, and aluminum structures. Experience with cable design is preferred.
The primary duties associated with this position include:
- The candidate should be proficient with the International Building Code (IBC); ASCE-7; ACI 318; ADM-2020; and AISC.
- Performing challenging 3-dimensional structural analyses and designs for a wide variety of clients using various state-of-the-art design software, including RISA 3D, SAP, RAM, and RISA Foundation.
- Responsible for serving as lead project engineer, i.e., taking responsibility for developing design, preparing detailed structural drawings using AutoCAD and REVIT, and specifications. This includes coordinating the work of junior team members and amongst other trades.
- Solving engineering problems using experience, judgment, and education and knowing when to ask for assistance when required.
- Write and review related reports for the services provided.
- Scoping projects and assisting project managers with proposal creation.
- Serving as a Quality Control reviewer for the designs of team members.
- Assisting the Team Leader in initiating, developing, and implementing continuous team improvement initiatives.
- Supporting structural work in our building projects within the Structural Facilities Group as workload warrants.
- Attending client meetings/presentations in the daytime or evenings.
- Communicating with client representatives, contractors, and suppliers.
- Participating in site visits/inspections/documentation during construction.
- Work on a variety of projects including schools, industrial facilities, commercial buildings, and governmental projects.
- This position requires an individual that has strong technical abilities with good organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced market.
Additional duties will include preparing structural designs; prepare structural design summaries and detailed drawings using AutoCAD and REVIT; consider alternate designs and value engineering; and meeting scheduled project deadlines.
