About the Role
Facility Engineering Services (FES) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver Building Automation System (BAS) and Direct Digital Control (DDC) projects from planning through closeout.
This role requires a mix of organizational leadership, technical understanding, and client communication. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple projects simultaneously, and ensures every installation meets FES standards for quality, schedule, and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage BAS/DDC installations, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation for concurrent projects.
- Collaborate with Business Development to understand customer goals, operational challenges, and project expectations.
- Coordinate with the Engineering Department, providing feedback on design intent, constructability, and field implementation.
- Execute projects efficiently, maintaining customer satisfaction and alignment with project scope.
- Generate and manage RFIs to resolve project-specific questions and ensure technical clarity.
- Identify and document change order opportunities for scope additions or modifications.
- Work closely with engineering and field teams to maintain quality control, job pace, manpower allocation, and material readiness.
- Review job cost reports to ensure manpower and budgets are aligned with project cash flow.
- Support monthly billing, forecasting, and project reporting by providing progress updates and field insights.
- Liaise between field and office teams to enhance communication, resolve issues, and maintain project momentum.
- Provide technical and logistical support for field personnel throughout project execution.
- Build and maintain strong customer and subcontractor relationships vital to successful project completion.
- Oversee project closeout and identify future business opportunities with existing clients.
- Maintain positive cash flow and profitability across assigned projects.
- Develop a working knowledge of each project’s contract documents and specifications.
- Occasional travel to job sites may be required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of project management experience in Building Automation, DDC, or HVAC controls.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, controls submittals, and project manuals.
- Familiarity with project scheduling, cost tracking, and forecasting tools.

This role takes ownership of the custom-built Data Quality Foundation—leveraging Snowflake, Cognos Analytics, SSRS, and ED&I engineering patterns—to expand and mature the enterprise’s ability to measure, monitor, remediate, and improve data quality at scale.
The engineer will design, implement, and optimize data quality rules, issue detection logic, exception reporting, and the underlying data pipelines that feed our enterprise Data Quality Dashboard.
They will partner closely with the Enterprise Data Governance (EDG) Office, acting as the technical execution arm that turns governance policies, standards, and domain-specific rules into automated data quality controls embedded into Sinclair’s modern data ecosystem.
This is a hands-on engineering role requiring strong data modeling, SQL development, metadata understanding, and business domain translation skill—ideal for someone who enjoys building robust data assets that directly improve trust, decision-making, and operational efficiency across the enterprise.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA certification is a plus.
7+ years of accounting experience, Manufacturing or construction experience is preferred.
Proven experience in developing and implementing internal control policies and procedures.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze operational costs, overhead allocations, and pricing strategies.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Managing all aspects of mechanical construction projects from inception to completion.

Overseeing the QA/QC preview drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

Coordinating and supervising the work of subcontractors, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
4.
Preparing and submitting RFIs (Requests for Information) and coordinating responses to ensure project continuity.
5.
Designing and implementing HVAC systems in accordance with project specifications.
6.
Conducting 'Take Off'
- assessing the materials, labor, and equipment required for a project.
7.
Ensuring all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
8.
Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
9.
Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
10.
Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the Permanent Mechanical Construction Project Manager role will have the following qualifications: 1.
A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
2.
A minimum of 5 to 10 years' experience in mechanical construction project management.
3.
Proven experience in managing all aspects of construction projects, including QA/QC, mechanical and plumbing, subcontractor management, and RFI preparation.
4.
Demonstrated experience in HVAC systems and 'Take Off'.
5.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, means and methods, understanding of construction laws and regulations.
6.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
7.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
8.
Proficient in project management software tools, techniques, and methods.
9.
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
10.
Professional Engineering (PE) certification is a plus.
