Description

The Sr Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for the technical development, oversight and improvement of manufacturing processes within the area of responsibility. This individual will lead process optimization, technical problem-solving, and cross-functional manufacturing initiatives. This role is accountable for achieving senior-level competence Plans and presents engineering program and product design reviews for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Develops and requests design and specification change releases. Assesses and communicates impact of engineering initiatives to functional groups. Essential Responsibilities




  • Develop, release, and maintain detailed technical work instructions for the manufacture and repair of aerospace metallic structures and assemblies, ensuring full compliance with customer(s) engineering definition and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with CNC Programming group to develop and implement manufacturing plan for complex metallic machined components/assemblies.
  • Provide advanced technical support to Quality and Operations teams to achieve site-level Safety, Cost, Quality, and Delivery (SCQD) objectives; act as a primary escalation point for complex manufacturing issues.
  • Partner with Purchasing and Sales during the quoting process to define manufacturing approach, assess technical risk, establish labor standards, and ensure cost competitiveness.

Senior Finance Manager


We’re hiring a highly technical Senior Finance Manager to help shape enterprise financial strategy as a real assets platform moves from rapid growth into a more institutional operating model.

This position blends corporate finance, portfolio-level analytics, and structured capital markets work. You’ll be the “modeling engine” for leadership—building institutional-quality models from the ground up and translating outputs into clear recommendations around capitalization, liquidity, and long-term value creation.


You’ll partner closely with senior decision-makers to consolidate portfolio cash flows, evaluate recapitalization paths, test securitization/structured finance options, optimize cost of capital, and uphold rigorous underwriting and diligence standards.


Key Responsibilities

1) Corporate & Portfolio Financial Strategy

  • Create and maintain fully integrated three-statement corporate financial models
  • Build portfolio roll-ups that consolidate asset-level operating performance and cash flows
  • Evaluate recapitalization outcomes (e.g., buyout, minority/structured equity, alternative capital solutions)
  • Model securitization concepts backed by stabilized affordable-housing cash flows
  • Assess valuation, NAV, and cost-of-capital implications across scenarios
  • Deliver sensitivity and scenario analysis to support capital allocation decisions

2) Capital Markets & Capital Stack Optimization

  • Analyze refinancing approaches and structured debt alternatives
  • Model multi-tranche debt structures and distribution waterfalls
  • Support leverage strategy, liquidity planning, and covenant monitoring
  • Produce investor-ready materials, return analytics, and capital partner reporting
  • Assist with negotiations alongside lenders, equity partners, and other institutional counterparties
  • Ensure adherence to JV structures, loan terms, and related compliance requirements

3) Advanced Modeling & Decision Analytics

  • Build/upgrade LBO, cash flow waterfall, portfolio coverage, and capital pacing models
  • Develop distribution schedules and liquidity/runway projections (13-week and longer-range)
  • Standardize modeling templates to improve repeatability and controls
  • Provide crisp, decision-ready insights to senior leadership

4) Affordable Housing Underwriting & Transaction Support (LIHTC-focused)

  • Oversee underwriting for development and acquisition opportunities
  • Improve underwriting tools and submission processes for tax credit transactions
  • Lead financial diligence, data room readiness, and documentation hygiene
  • Support debt, tax credit equity, and transaction closing activities
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders through execution

5) FP&A Leadership

  • Own consolidated budgeting and forecasting
  • Convert property-level data into corporate dashboards and management reporting
  • Drive variance analysis, risk identification, and forecasting accuracy improvements
  • Implement QA standards and financial controls across models and reporting
  • Coach junior talent and raise the technical modeling bar

Ideal Profile

  • 6–10 years of experience in real estate private equity, structured finance/credit, infrastructure investing, corporate development, real estate investment banking, or REIT/real assets FP&A
  • Expert-level Excel skills with the ability to build models from a blank sheet
  • Hands-on experience with: three-statement models, 13-week cash flow, LBO, portfolio roll-ups, waterfalls, and multi-tranche debt structures
  • Strong understanding of capital stack mechanics and return metrics (IRR, MOIC, DSCR, ICR)
  • Executive-ready communication: can explain complex outputs clearly and concisely
  • Real estate background helpful, but high-caliber technical modelers from adjacent verticals are welcome

Job Summary:

Our ideal Project Manager candidate will manage all aspects of assigned project(s) from preconstruction through closeout. This includes preconstruction phase activities such as constructability reviews, value engineering, estimating, budget control, prime contract negotiation, and preconstruction schedule management. In addition, manage construction phase activities such as overall leadership, staff management, client management, project setup, risk management, document management, subcontractor buyout, schedule management, QA/QC management, change management, submittal, and RFI management, financial reporting, and project closeout.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • PRECONSTRUCTION: Assist in the estimating / budgeting process, perform constructability reviews, help develop and manage the value engineering process, assist in the preparation of preliminary schedules and prime contract reviews.
  • CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: Clearly understand all documents that make up the "Contract Documents” and enforce/manages the documents.
  • AGREEMENTS: Prepare and ensure that scope descriptions are complete, well-coordinated, and issued timely.
  • SAFETY: Ensure that the project site is safe and that the Injury Illness Prevention Program (IIPP) is implemented comprehensively, and all Bernards safety procedures are being followed.
  • FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT: Manage all project financial reporting processes, including overseeing all budgets, contracts, invoices, payment applications, and change order requests.
  • RISK MANAGEMENT: Identify areas of risk and plans to address them.Ensure proper insurance is in place and that the project is in full compliance with all Bernards risk management policies.
  • QA/QC: Manage the Bernards Quality Management Manual (QMM) outlining quality policies, standards and procedures, ensuring the project meets or exceeds the quality standards of our clients.
  • SCHEDULING: Create and update the project schedule collaboratively with the Superintendent(s) to develop accurate and detailed project schedules.
  • DOCUMENT CONTROL: Ensure that all document control procedures are being followed.
  • REPORTING: As applicable to the project requirements, create the monthly reports for financial status, project status, schedule status, client reporting, etc.
  • CLOSEOUT: Manage and oversee all closeout, including final submittals, punch list, as-builts, warranties, and final payments.
  • ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.


Preferred Experience, Education, and Skills:

  • Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field.
  • Over 7 years of construction industry experience managing projects from start-up to completion.
  • DSA/Public Works experience is preffered.
  • Project experience ranging from $15M – $90M.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with team members, industry partners, and clients.
  • Ability to efficiently manage time, workload, prioritize and maintain a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential matters.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Competency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), P6 Scheduling and BIM.
