An exciting locum tenens opportunity is available for experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) in Michigan.
This role is ideal for CRNAs with a strong background in Level 1 trauma care and a commitment to providing high-quality anesthesia services.
Key Details: Schedule: Full-time; 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM to 5:30 PM).
Setting: Hospital-based pain management clinic.
Support Structure: Care-Team model with anesthesiologists supporting induction, emergence, and critical intervals.
EMR System: Epic.
Case Load: Approximately 60 surgical cases per day, spanning a range of procedures.
Operating Environment: Collegial team setting with 25 operating rooms.
Required Qualifications: Board Certification in CRNA.
Active Michigan license.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Clean background.
Experience in a Level 1 trauma center.
Procedural Scope: General surgical anesthesia for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
Pediatric anesthesia (limited cases).
MRI, endoscopy, IR, EP lab.
IV regional and spinal anesthesia.
Neurosurgical cases.
Ventilation management.
Arterial and central line placement.
Compensation: Rate: inclusive of malpractice and travel (for non-local providers).
Local providers are preferred but not mandatory.
