The Raytheon Mechanical Engineering (ME) Organization leads the mechanical hardware design, development and production support of a wide breadth of air, land, sea, and space systems.

What You Will Do:
Perform mechanical design, development, and documentation of components, sub-assemblies, and major end items for defense system equipment in accordance with system requirements.
Collaborate across multiple disciplines/functions (i.e. structural/thermal analyses and electrical engineering) to solve complex technical challenges in a fast-paced, team environment.
Validate design fit and functionality by rapid prototyping and/or simulation
Support the factory and suppliers with product integration
Participate in design peer reviews, resolving action items, and conduct trade studies to make sound technical decisions.
Occasional CONUS travel to customer sites or suppliers is generally required.
International and longer duration travel assignments are available but optional
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelors Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience. An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical design, documentation and fabrication.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience in the specification, design, development, production and testing of undersea systems and electronics packaging. Knowledge of design for long term submergence, sealing, and corrosion resistance.

A Day in the Life of the Boat Mechanic
In this role, you’ll serve as a lead mechanic and technical expert responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining marine engines while supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy marine service department. You’ll work on a large fleet of boats, collaborate with specialized technicians, and help mentor junior mechanics. Your expertise will play a key role in maintaining service quality and supporting the continued growth of the department.
Responsibilities include:
- Diagnose and repair Yamaha and/or Mercury marine engines

Job Purpose
As the Supervisor, CNC Manufacturing at Vulcan Forms in Newburyport MA, you are responsible for overseeing the assigned area's daily operations, productivity, and staff. Role- AWS with TypeScript Developer
Location- Indiana/ Boston, New Hampshire- on Hybrid mode
Core Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Build scalable RESTful APIs and event-driven systems using AWS Serverless architecture.
- Infrastructure: Write and manage cloud resources using AWS CDK (Infrastructure as Code).
- Data Modeling: Manage diverse data requirement using PostgreSQL(AWS RDS) and DynamoDB.
- Security & Identity: Design and implement robust security boundaries using AWS IAM roles, resource-based policies, Apigee and OAuth flows.
- Product Partnership: Collaborate regularly with Product Owners on feature runway, requirement gathering, and technical road mapping.
- AI-Augmented Engineering: Leverage "vibe programming" (AI-assisted workflows) to accelerate development and focus on high-level architecture.
- CI/CD: Own the release process by building and maintaining GitHub Actions pipelines.
- Observability: Own the health of services using CloudWatch, Datadog and Splunk for deep-dive logging, monitoring and alerting.

Technical Requirements
- Languages: High proficiency in TypeScript and Java, basic understanding of Python.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is:$110,000 - 120,000/year

Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-the-floor quality engineering support to manufacturing operations for combination products.
- Perform and document line clearances prior to batch start, product changeovers, and as required throughout production.
- Ensure labeling control requirements are met.
- Conduct incoming inspection of components and materials (visual, dimensional, and functional tests as applicable).
- Perform batch record reviews (BRR) for completeness, accuracy, and GMP compliance.
- Ensure that all work adheres to applicable cGMP, ISO, and FDA regulatory requirements for combination products.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related technical field — or equivalent practical experience.
- 3-5 years prior experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (pharma, medical device, or combination products preferred).
- Basic understanding of quality systems, cGMP, and data integrity principles.
- Experience with combination product manufacturing, device assembly lines and/or cleanroom experience.
- Knowledge of FDA 21 CFR Part 4, 210, 211 and 820, ISO 13485, or similar regulatory standards.
