Rhino Medical is actively seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for a short-term locum tenens opportunity in Norwalk, Ohio.
This is a weekday-focused assignment offering consistent day shifts, manageable case volume, and a collaborative care team within a well-established community hospital anesthesia program.

Opportunity Snapshot
- Location: Norwalk, Ohio
- Contract Type: CRNA Locum Tenens
- Start Date: ASAP – Ongoing (2–6 Month Assignment)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8–10 Hour Day Shifts
- Weekly Hours: 40 hours (4–5 days/week)
- EMR: Cerner
Facility Overview
Community-based acute care hospital serving north-central Ohio
- 99-bed hospital
- Level III Trauma Center
- ~8,500 annual surgical cases
- ~15 cases per day
- 3 anesthetizing rooms daily
- Surgeries performed across 5 locations within the facility
- OR utilization:
- 4 rooms running Monday–Wednesday
- 5 rooms running Wednesday–Friday
Practice Environment
Care Team Model with physician supervision
- 4 Anesthesiologists + 5 CRNAs
- Collaborative, team-oriented workflow
- Stable, efficient surgical program
CRNAs will work primarily daytime cases with no in-house night responsibilities.
Clinical Scope
Broad community hospital case mix including:
- General Surgery
- Orthopedics
- Endoscopy
- Urology
- GYN
- Obstetrics (required)
- Providers should be comfortable with routine OB anesthesia responsibilities.
Call & Coverage Model
- Day shift coverage only for locums
- Night & weekend coverage handled via pager system (physician-led)
- No CRNA in-house call requirement
Credentialing
- Temporary privileges available
- Credentialing timeline: 30–45 days
Candidate Requirements
- Certified CRNA (NBCRNA)
- Active Ohio license (or ability to obtain)
- OB anesthesia experience required
- Ability to work within a supervised care team model
