What You’ll Do

Project Leadership & Oversight

• Plan, organize, direct, and control project execution from handoff to closeout
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders
• Coordinate with Project Superintendents, Estimators, Purchasing, and Project Accounting
• Make strategic decisions to maintain schedule, profitability, and quality

Financial & Budget Management

• Manage project budgets, cost tracking, labor/material projections, and billing
• Identify, price, submit, and manage change orders
• Monitor financial performance to ensure projects remain profitable

Field & Operational Support

• Review plans and specifications; identify specialty or non-standard requirements
• Ensure installations align with approved blueprints, NEC, and local code
• Review daily and weekly field reports
• Resolve escalated field issues and contractor concerns
• Attend project meetings (Pre-Con, CPS, NBU, APL, etc.)

Documentation & Closeout

• Provide regular project updates including schedule and budget status
• Ensure documentation is complete and organized
• Deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field preferred
• Minimum 3+ years managing commercial electrical construction projects
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies

As a Superintendent specializing in Life Sciences construction, you will play a crucial role in meticulously planning and orchestrating construction projects. Specific Responsibilities:

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of experience in life sciences construction management, with projects of $30M+, preferably with design/build experience.
• 3-15 years of experience in highly technical commercial/industrial construction management, on projects of 50+ million, ideally with design-build experience.
• Ability to effectively supervise construction employees and achieve work within budget and schedule.
• Strong project safety record and commitment to safety and quality.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to travel or relocate to jobsite.
• Creative and results-oriented with a sense of urgency.
• Positive working relationships with all construction groups.
• Strong analytical ability and capacity to interpret data.
• Comfortable with change and ambiguity, adaptable, collaborative, and a systems hinker.

You will be part of a top-performing project services team and report to an expert Project Controls Manager in the industry. This position regularly interacts with company leaders, candidates, field staff, and third-party partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Planner/Scheduler, you will:

• Lead project teams in interactive planning sessions to develop work-flow plans, schedules, and detailed labor plans.
• Integrate planning information into the schedule verifying alignment with client expectations.
• Update schedule with progress and monitor key work sequences, including milestones, to identify then notify project team of deviations to the baseline.
• Lead planning sessions as required to re-sequence the work.

• Perform routine site walks as part of the progress updating and monitoring process.

• Maintain expert knowledge of Primavera P6 (V 15.1 or later) to deal with activity coding, resource loading and handling multiple schedules, baselines, and data import and exports.
• Provide expert support for proposal development

• Support safety culture of BMWC by reporting any condition or behavior that may lead to a safety incident

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma required; post-secondary education is preferred
• Additional coursework, training and/or certification are also preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in project control roles
• Professional experience with multi-site employers and remote workforce management
• Previous work experience in the construction industry is highly desired
