A major, well‑established General Contractor with a strong presence in South Florida is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead the field operations of $100M+ tunnel‑form multifamily developments in the Miami market. This is a key hire for a growing portfolio of high‑density, structural concrete projects.
Role Overview
The Superintendent will oversee daily site activities, manage large‑scale structural production cycles, and ensure delivery of high‑quality multifamily buildings utilizing tunnel form construction. This role is ideal for someone who excels in highly coordinated, fast‑paced environments and has a strong command of formwork‑driven structural sequencing.
Responsibilities
- Lead all on‑site field operations for major tunnel‑form multifamily projects
- Manage subcontractors, safety, logistics, and quality control
- Oversee structural cycles and ensure consistent tunnel‑form production pace
- Coordinate closely with project management, engineering, and design teams
- Maintain project schedule and proactively mitigate delays
- Build strong relationships with trade partners and project stakeholders
- Ensure work meets the highest standards of craftsmanship and compliance
Qualifications
- 10+ years of Superintendent experience on large multifamily or structural projects
- Hands‑on experience with tunnel form or similar heavy formwork systems (strongly preferred)
- Proven track record on $50M–$100M+ ground‑up projects
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities
- Ability to manage fast structural cycles and large crews
