Position Highlights:
- Position: Pharmacy Technician - IP
- Location: Elmhurst Hospital
- Full Time - 40 hours/week
- Hours: Monday-Friday, Evenings 2:30pm - 11:00pm, weekend & rotating holidays
What you will need:
- Education (Required):
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Certifications (Required):
- Current License as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Illinois
- One of the following must be met:
- Current Pharmacy Technician Certification or must obtain CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) within 90 days of hire, or
- Successfully passed the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ExCPT) examination pending certification, or
- Current Pharmacy Technician license with ?Student? designation issued by the State of Illinois
What you will do:
Assists pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory and maintenance of records. Works under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
