Roles & Responsibilities
- Analyze complex legal and factual issues, conduct extensive, well-reasoned legal research, and independently develop and present defense strategies on behalf of clients.
- Prepare complex pleadings, written discovery, depositions (expert/fact/de bene esse), motions, and briefs in support of defense strategies.
- Provide effective and timely communications, information, legal advice, and other services to clients and claims personnel on legal and factual issues.
- Communicate with the court, witnesses, opposing counsel, and co-counsel in a manner consistent with established office procedures.
- Responsible for the prompt, efficient, and effective disposition of assigned cases.
- Prepare and present witnesses and evidence at trials, judicial and administrative hearings, arbitrations, and alternative dispute resolutions.
Qualifications
- J.D. and admission to the bar of the state in which you are seeking a position (admission in other states, such as NJ, WV, or PA is a plus)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in insurance defense or related setting
- Litigation experience required (e.g., taking and defending depositions, preparation and filing of discovery and related motions, oral argument experience, etc.)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant with approximately two years of relevant experience to join our growing finance team. This role will play a key part in the monthly close process, financial reporting (both domestic and international), and general ledger management. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-growth environment, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and has the ability to help define and build scalable accounting processes.
While the primary focus of the role is core accounting and reporting, the position also includes financial analysis responsibilities, including variance analysis and review of revenue and other financial statement fluctuations.
In this role you will:
Month-End Close & General Ledger
- Prepare and post journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger records
- Perform account reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies
- Support and execute the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Assist in maintaining and improving close checklists and documentation
Financial Reporting (Domestic & International)
- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules
- Support reporting requirements for both domestic and international entities
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies
- Assist with audit support and documentation requests
Financial Analysis & Variance Review
- Perform variance analysis on revenue, expenses, and other key financial statement accounts
- Review and investigate fluctuations across financial statements
- Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business drivers behind financial results
- Support ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed
Process Improvement & Scalability
- Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance accounting processes
- Help define, document, and build out scalable procedures in a high-growth environment
- Contribute to internal control improvements and process standardization
Contributors to your success:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Approximately 2 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close processes
- Experience with financial reporting, including multi-entity and/or international operations preferred
- Experience in a high-growth or fast-paced environment preferred
- Strong analytical skills with experience performing variance analysis
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally
Preferred Attributes
- CPA (or working toward CPA) is a plus

Schedule: Part-time, Day Shift (16 hours/week, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm) - On call as needed based on department needs
The IR Technologist is responsible for performing all angiographic and interventional procedures. The technologist assists the radiologist and/or other licensed, privileged physicians with procedures including, but not limited to, angiography, arteriography, insertion of access lines, biopsy and drainage procedures. The technologist must show independent judgment when performing procedures and when addressing difficult or unusual situations. The technologist is responsible for evaluating images for technical quality.
Minimum Qualifications:
ARRT with Interventional Certification preferred, at least 1-2 years’ experience in interventional radiology
Delaware license in Radiology Technology required
BLS required.
Previous critical and vent experience required.
