Our company is seeking a Permanent Accounting Manager to join our dynamic Accounting + Finance team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GAAP, budgeting, payroll processing, tax planning, and internal controls.
This role involves not only managing the daily operations of the accounting department but also mentoring and training the accounting staff.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, be able to review and analyze financial statements, and possess excellent leadership qualities.

Responsibilities: Review and analyze month-end financial statement information in accordance with GAAP.
Monitor and update budgets, ensuring they align with the company's financial goals.
Assist in improving and maintaining internal controls to protect the company's financial assets.
Process payroll and submit 401(k) payments in a timely manner.
Maintain and update tax planning, ensuring the company is compliant with all tax laws.
Supervise and mentor accounting and accounts payable staff, assigning tasks, reviewing work, and providing performance feedback.
Review weekly accounts payable and address any inquiries or discrepancies.
Coordinate training programs for new staff and identify training needs for existing staff to enhance their knowledge and skills.
Review daily ACH transactions, ensuring they are accurate and processed correctly.
Maintain and monitor cash balances, providing regular reports to senior management.
Conduct data analysis to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting management role.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
A Master's degree or CPA designation is preferred.
Strong understanding of GAAP and other accounting principles.
Proven experience in budgeting, payroll processing, tax planning, and internal controls.
Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.
Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret and present financial data effectively.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
