Specific Job Summary The Unified Communications, Sr.
Engineer is responsible for all processes and technology in support of ensuring the Company’s strategic direction related to Contact Center and Resort PBX systems This role provides technical guidance to a team of engineers and the efforts of vendors and business partners to understand business requirements by developing, refining, and meeting all SLAs as required within this area of responsibility.
This critical role reports directly to the Associate Director Unified Communications while working closely with other GT disciplines, GT Security and Controls, Internal Audit, Asset Management, Procurement, and other groups as identified to ensure compliance with set requirements.

Responsible for supplier outcomes to ensure alignment and achievement of goals and objectives established as they relate to the Unified Communications Engineering scope.
Ensure that standards and direction are met for Corporate, Contact Center, and Resort Unified Communications Responsible for proactively preventing and reactively resolving identified issues by working closely with GT Partners, Vendors, Suppliers, and Business Leaders.
Works closely with Unified Communications Leadership, GT Security and Controls, Information Security, Business Leaders and other stakeholders to define requirements and develop new features & functionality to optimize business processes.
Manage the implementation of test strategies and matures the team’s skills by introducing progressive testing concepts that focus on efficiency but sacrifice nothing on quality.
Manage defect detection, documentation, and “confirmation of resolution” processes, ensuring that a standard approach is being followed throughout the larger Unified Communications team and that proper tooling and reporting mechanisms are in place.
Defines refining repeatable and continually improving processes.
Mature the team’s capabilities by introducing progressive concepts that focus on efficiency but sacrifice nothing on quality.
Responsible for the Team’s high-level troubleshooting processes across assigned technologies.
Ensures that a standard approach is being followed throughout the Unified Communications team and that proper tooling and reporting are in place.
Encourage a sense of accountability across the organization to foster a culture that “owns” all misses and uses them to drive future process improvements.
Understand the business’s objectives and partner with Unified Communications Leadership to build alignment and buy-in across a global community.
Partner with Unified Communications Leadership to motivate all team members to deliver high quality projects within time and budget.
Maintain vendor relationships and technology road maps, evaluate new technologies for compatibility and security compliance, contribute to endpoint lifecycle management discipline for timely delivery of new services.
Coordinate after-hours support when needed for changes and/or incidents management Assists and provides technical guides to less senior associates in achieving business results Identify opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of business processes.

CLS Generic Candidate Profile Successful candidates should possess knowledge, experience and demonstrate leadership skills as follows: Generally, a professional position with specific knowledge in a discipline (e.g., Accounting, Human Resources, Information Resources).
College degree and/or relevant experience typically required.
Specific Candidate Profile Education BS/MS Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience related to Endpoint Engineering technologies noted previously.

Overview
The Technical Service Coordinator plays a critical role in onboarding new managed services customers and ensuring they have a clear, accurate, and complete technical foundation as they transition into our MSP environment. This role sits at the intersection of service delivery, technical operations, and customer success—responsible for gathering and documenting environment details, coordinating onboarding tasks across teams, and maintaining high-quality technical documentation.
The ideal candidate has strong technical aptitude, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Onboarding
- Serve as the primary coordinator for onboarding new MSP customers.
- Collect and validate environment information (infrastructure, networks, identity systems, applications, security tools)
- Facilitate kickoff calls, technical discovery sessions, and onboarding checkpoints.
- Work cross-functionally with Service Desk, Systems Administration, Networking, and Security teams to ensure smooth onboarding execution.
- Track onboarding tasks, milestones, risks, and completion status.
Technical Documentation
- Create and maintain high-quality documentation including:
- Network diagrams
- Asset inventories
- Access and identity configurations
- Backup, monitoring, and security configurations
- Server, endpoint, and application details
- Build and update SOPs, runbooks, and customer-specific knowledge articles (consistent with knowledge practices in Managed - Services). [Managed - Services | PowerPoint]
- Ensure all customer documentation is properly stored, versioned, and accessible within the MSP knowledge repository.
Operational Coordination
- Act as a liaison between onboarding teams, technical operations, and account management.

- Assist in preparing environment overviews and technical summaries for internal handoff to Operations, Systems Administration, and Service Desk teams.

Technical Support Assistance
- Perform basic to mid‑level environment validation tasks (e.g., checking system health, verifying connectivity, confirming AD/O365 configurations
- Identify gaps in customer environments requiring additional engineering review or remediation.

Qualifications
Required
- 1–3 years experience in an MSP, helpdesk, technical coordination, or IT operations role.
- Understanding of:
- Microsoft 365 / Azure AD
- Windows Server fundamentals
- Networking basics (VLANs, firewalls, switching, DNS)
- Backup & monitoring concepts
- Strong documentation skills with high attention to detail.

As a national and world leader in space, aerospace, and hypersonics, the University of Central Florida (UCF) has established a center of excellence on this topic and is working to strengthen its research and education mission in this area.
As a part of this broad, university-wide strategic plan, the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE) invites applicants for multiple 9-month, full-time faculty positions at the rank of assistant professor (tenure-earning), or associate professor (tenured). Candidates with a strong background in hypersonics and space systems are highly encouraged to apply. Technical fields of interest include, but are not limited to:

The corridor has an excellent industrial base that includes software, defense, space, simulation and training, and a world-renowned entertainment industry. Adjacent to UCF is a thriving research park that conducts over $2 billion in funded research, hosting more than 100 high-tech companies and UCF's School of Modeling, Simulation, and Training. In response to this unique locational opportunity, The Center for Advanced Turbomachinery and Energy Research (CATER) was founded to focus on student training and research on turbomachinery and associated energy systems for application in power generation, aviation, and space propulsion. CATER has 9 core faculty members at present, with a staff of 5 research faculty, 15 postdoctoral researchers, and 97 doctoral students. It collectively secured $20.3M of new external funding in FY 24-25 and graduates 13 doctoral students per year on average.

The motivation of the center is Speed and Space with the goal of achieving ultra-high-speed flight through our atmosphere, and efficient planetary entry and exit, making space exploration and intercontinental travel as routine as intercity travel is today. About the role:
Based in Orlando, Florida, this role is responsible for increasing Thryv’s penetration to the existing client base, increasing client engagement with existing software clients, and growing the SaaS client base through new sales. This role calls on existing clients to nurture and grow relationships while identifying and pursuing new client opportunities to meet a predetermined sales quota. The Software Account Executive conducts greater than 50% of their work outside their home office.
- Contacts assigned clients and presents opportunities for additional sales and/or extended usage based on client needs.
- Identifies and secures new SaaS clients by leveraging self-generated prospecting (i.e. networks, referrals, etc.) and company-initiated prospecting programs.
- Executes all defined operational processes and requirements with excellence (i.e., designed cadences for client and prospect engagement, ongoing product and demo certifications, order entry requirements, centralized intake forms, etc.).
- Participates in sales meetings, call calibrations, and training as needed.

Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of related sales experience (7+ years is preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in an (outbound) full sales cycle role is required
- Experience in a SaaS role or company is preferred, but not required
- The ideal candidate will have experience in Enterprise-level sales (not a requirement)
- Strong industry knowledge with the ability to gain a thorough understanding of the Thryv product suite
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong emotional intelligence, adaptability, and the ability to build relationships.
- Time and organization skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with competing schedules or conflicting demands
- Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment, effectively conducting sales presentations while following company established processes and procedures
- Strong technical skills with proficiency in MS office and the ability to learn new programs and systems
- Associate degree (or international equivalent) or equivalent experience required

The estimated on target earnings (OTE) for this role, which includes base salary and incentives, is $137,100, with the potential to earn more in most U.S. locations. Final offer amounts are determined based on the candidate’s location and may vary from the figure listed above.
