Summary: Responsible for leadership & management of the Concrete Molds business unit comprising of Engineering and Sales departments. The General Manager will oversee the business unit’s strategic & tactical goals of creating value added products by developing new designs and modifications that meet existing and future customer needs; managing resources to achieve high levels of customer service; and meeting financial objectives and revenue growth plan of the business unit as part of the greater Vancouver Operations team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Directs the Concrete Mold Engineering department to effectively utilize engineering resources to complete projects on time and implement new products and cost reduction ideas in to designs.
• Directs the Concrete Mold Sales team to define project requirements and directs staff to complete them within time, cost, and quality specifications
• Builds trust & rapport with other functional departments to ensure that solutions are comprehensive and efficient
• Compiles department performance data and works with team to continuously improve.
• Maintains target margin on sales by conducing market research to set prices for major or strategic projects
• Develops sales strategy by identifying short-term and long-range sales forecasts
• Manages sales channel productivity by driving customer solutions and implementing programs to expand the sales pipeline
• Creates and conducts customized technical sales presentations and proposals for customers
• Improves safety, quality, and productivity for all aspects of Concrete Mold functions, including Engineering & Sales
• Maximizes productivity and consistency by using standards to improve existing solutions when possible
• Fosters quality improvements by conducting design reviews and inspecting pre-released designs, and maintains a sharp focus on error-proofing and problem solving techniques to ensure the highest levels of quality and customer satisfaction
• Ensures a continuous line of communication between Concrete Mold Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing to improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce costs
• Contributes to Concrete Mold research and development, driving innovation and alignment to budget for 3-5 year growth targets.
• Collaborates with sales and marketing teams to utilize current information on industry trends, and competitors products in the development of new equipment designs and modifications.
• Directs Marketing to support product line
• Prepares department budgets and sales forecast and actively monitors bookings, backlog, and invoicing to ensure all business unit KPI are achieved.
• Development and continued training of Concrete Mold Engineers and Sales Representatives
• Travel 25-50%

The Trade Compliance Sr. Analyst is responsible for ensuring compliant and efficient import operations for Kulicke & Soffa. This position focuses heavily on customs clearance, reviewing CBP Form 7501, validating import documentation, and supporting duty classification and regulatory compliance. The role also includes performing Restricted Party Screening (RPS) to prevent unauthorized transactions and ensure alignment with U.S. export control regulations. Assuring a compliant audit trail exists for all Customs entries cleared under Kulicke & Soffa. Assuring that imports and exports of the company are compliant with US Customs and Foreign Local import regulations such as HTS (Harmonized Tariff Schedule) classification, valuation, country of origin, assists, record keeping, ADD/CVD, special trade programs and other government agency requirements, EAR and ITAR regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure day-to-day tracking and monitoring of all shipments.
• Review Customs Form 7501 for accuracy (HTS, duty rates, declared value, COO, PGA requirements).
• Verify that broker‑submitted entries align with internal compliance standards, coordinate corrections.
• Review supporting documents: commercial invoices, packing lists, airway bills, bills of lading, COO certificates
• Work closely with brokers and logistics teams to ensure timely customs clearance.
• Track and apply Section 301/232 tariffs and other custom-related duties.
• Maintain accurate and compliant CBP recordkeeping per 19 CFR §163.
• Interact effectively with multiple functional areas including management, supply chain, distribution, engineering, finance, IT and legal.
• Ensure that proposed customers are screened for Denied Person and Entities, restricted end-uses, and diversion and releases orders as appropriate or refer them to the appropriate personnel for further review and discussion.
• Identify whether other Government agency requirements are applicable to product imports and exports (e.g. DDTC, FCC, FDA, etc.).
• Evaluate all new Government agency requirements to ensure import and export compliance with changes and incorporate into day-to-day operations and standard operating procedures.
• Ascertain that up-to-date profiles and SOPs are provided to all endorsed service providers to ensure proper import and export clearance.
• Communicate with affiliated business units overseas to streamline export and import processes.
• Ensure that a trained back-up is available to assist with compliance functions.
• Perform Restricted Party Screening (RPS) for customers, vendors, and end‑users.
• Document and escalate matches, red flags, or concerns based on internal escalation procedures.
• Support due‑diligence workflows (EUS, CPP, Red Flag questionnaires) as needed.
• Track shipment status, delays, exams, and entry issues.
• Recommend process improvements to strengthen import compliance controls.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience with international trade compliance regulations
• Strong working knowledge of HTS classification, import documentation
• Hands-on experience processing Customs Entries (Customs Brokerage experience)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Access, Word, Outlook)
• Advanced Excel Skills
• Licensed Customs Broker (preferred)
• Oracle experience is a plus.

The Role

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for providing engineering inputs integral to both small and large scale hydro projects. You will lead and mentor teams, support management of production and coordinate delivery of engineering inputs often with multi-disciplinary project team members and senior stakeholders. You will not only support and help grow the broader engineering team capabilities, but your particular focus will be on continuing the development of our powerhouse and energy capabilities and working with key staff in growing that aspect of the business.

You’ll also be involved in supporting project management duties, liaising with both internal and external clients as well as assisting with guiding and mentoring graduate engineers within the team. In this role you will lead teams conducting technical work for feasibility studies, engineering designs, preparation of construction drawings and specifications, and carrying out onsite visits for rehabilitation and upgrades to dams, hydroelectric facilities and new hydroelectric developments. You will participate in design and play a large role in mentoring the team. You will be working in a collaborative environment with a great team of engineers and scientists, and you will also interface directly with clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide input to those managing and executing multiple projects from the proposal stage through to completion. Projects will include a variety of small to large projects.
• Establish and facilitate connections with other departments to support and enhance service delivery.
• Work collaboratively with other disciplines and multidisciplinary project teams to execute project deliverables, as well as ensure that quality objectives, schedules and budgets are met.

About You

• Minimum of a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university. A post graduate degree would be an asset.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in electrical engineering with demonstrated project management skills (tracking budgets and meeting schedules).
• Must be registered as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in California, Oregon, or Washington, as well as eligible for registration as a professional engineer in other states by comity through NCEES.
• Demonstrated leadership of electrical design projects in the industrial power generation field, with experience managing and mentoring younger staff.
• Previous consulting experience is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Candidate must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Client interaction: must be able to effectively assume a lead role as project engineer at project meetings and communicate project and technical information.
• Demonstrated experience in site investigations, condition assessments, design and construction support are preferred.
• Experience with station service distribution (all voltages), medium voltage equipment, fixed bus power distribution systems, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) automation (for equipment control), generators and transformers including related monitoring systems, communication systems, system grounding, hoists and gate automation, and balance of plant systems for hydroelectric stations preferred, but industrial experience will be considered.
• Experience with the following would be considered an asset:
• Backup power systems (including Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), Direct Current systems and fuel fired backup)
• Lighting (including emergency and exit lighting systems)
• Fiber and copper structured cable systems, and associated networking equipment
• Distributed Control System (DCS) and PLC Automation, Human Machine Interface (HMI) and Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) integration (including any programming experience)
• Protection systems experience, including specifying, setting and verifying (include reference to voltages)
• Load flow analysis, system modelling, arc-flash, grounding, and other electrical studies (include reference to software used and any training)
• North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC)/Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) planning
• Physical or cyber security planning or design
• Unit outage planning
• Other renewable energy experience
• Travel to project sites is usually limited but is required depending on project/client requirements.
