- Placement of purchase orders with suppliers based upon system generated requirements information, confirming price and expected delivery date as required.

Serve as lead civil engineer for local townships and villages on Long Island in the consultation, review and preparation of site plans, roadway improvements, drainage upgrades, traffic safety, and streetscape efforts.As the village or township engineer, lead the preparation of design plans, bid books and specifications, oversight of construction inspections, and final closeout of construction.Attend planning board meetings and serve as a specialty civil engineering consultant (attendance at evening meetings once per week on average).Respond to RFPs and prepare letter proposals for new contracts and task orders.Lead and direct civil engineering design staff as well as field inspectors on ongoing municipal projects.Quickly respond and travel to local building departments and departments of public work as LiRo’s representative to support local infrastructure projects.Perform plan reviews for quality assurance, constructability, and conformance to Nassau County, Suffolk County, and NYSDOT standards.Financial management of projects and resource staffing.Attendance at industry functions and business development events
