Carle Health is seeking an additional  BE/BC GI Hospitalist  to join our Gastroenterology Department in Urbana, Illinois.

Opportunity Details:

• PRN position
• Join a team of 2 GI Hospitalists, 7 Outpatient Gastroenterologists, and 12 APPs
• Carle Foundation Hospital and the Carle Cancer Institute are adjacent to the Digestive Health Center
• 7 on 7 off schedule
• Call is split with other GI Hospitalists
• 5 APPs assist with inpatient rounding
• Ability to perform outpatient procedures in a new state-of-the-art, 10-suite Digestive Health Center
• Dedicated Interventional GI support
• Enjoy individual clinical autonomy combined with the efficiency of a financially-sound and innovative multispecialty group practice
• Carle participates in digestive clinical trials and is one of six facilities in IL to perform double balloon enteroscopies

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $166.67 - $166.67/hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. Carle Health is seeking an additional  BE/BC Interventional Radiologist to join our established Interventional Radiology team in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois.

• 100% Interventional Radiology practice (including vascular ultrasound)
• Comprehensive interventional procedures using the latest techniques and instruments
  • Interventional Oncology services including percutaneous tumor ablation and Y90
  • IR run PE response team providing Pulmonary Embolectomy and CDT
  • Portal Hypertension treatment
  • Peripheral Arterial disease
  • Comprehensive deep and superficial venous disease
  • Opportunity to expand and develop latest techniques and procedures such as PAE, GAE
• 1:5 weekly IR call, beginning at 5:00 pm
• State-of-the-art Siemens and Philips peripheral labs and Siemens Artis Q biplane room
• Procedural CT scanner and iU22 ultrasound equipment
• Part of the Carle Heart and Vascular Institute, our Interventional Radiology department works in a team-based, collaborative environment with Vascular Surgery, Cardiology, and Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Our Heart & Vascular Institute includes dedicated IR suites, offices, IR Clinic/staff and Vein Center

• Provide exceptional service to our customers by performing maintenance, diagnosis, and repairs on allied type construction and Aerial work platform equipment.
• Responsible for picking-up and delivering equipment when necessary.

Payrate: $31.55 - $35.75 per hour

This position will work in the field/shop environment and at Customer jobsites. May on a continuous basis walk, bend and lift up to 75 lbs. Will be required to wear appropriate safety equipment (IE- Safety glasses or side shields, hearing protection, etc.) for a given situation. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. Must be flexible to work varying schedules and hours as needed. Occasional travel may be required.
