The Surface Based Effector Production Department is searching for a Sr. Principal Guidance Section Systems Integrator role on a complex missile program that is critical for our national defense and has near unlimited growth potential. The Systems Integrator role will work closely with all disciplines associated with missile production including Program Management, Chief Engineers, Quality, Supply Chain and Production Operations to ensure the technical integrity of our products is maintained and performs as intended every time. The Systems Integrator’s broad knowledge base will be used to lead and/or support failure investigations, obsolescence redesigns, factory escapes, supplier issues and much more. The Effector Analog & Power (EAP) Department is seeking an Engineering Lab Lead. This individual will collaborate closely with other Lab Leads, Engineering staff, and Technicians to ensure the Engineering Labs adhere to established company policies and provide hardware development support to program teams.

This position works closely with all levels of leadership in multiple organizations as well as managing lab utilization across various projects. As a member of the team, this position will lead day-to-day operation requirements in Engineering Labs, with a particular focus on safety, compliance, security, improvement, and program support. The Lab Lead owns the quality and performance of the EAP Department’s Engineering Labs.

• Lab Operating Procedure (LOP) Management; provide direction for lab users on established policies.
• Management, coordination, and implementation of:

• Property tracking and calibration

Job Title: Systems Engineer

Location: Oro Valley, AZ (Onsite)

About the Role

Seeking a motivated, hands-on Systems Engineer to support a new Project, focused on advancing cancer diagnostics through state-of-the-art testing automation. This role plays a critical part in defining product requirements, system architectures, and risk management strategies for in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) solutions used globally across more than 250 cancer tests and associated instruments.

This is an onsite position ideal for an engineer with strong electro-mechanical systems experience and a background in regulated medical device development.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply Systems Engineering principles across the product lifecycle, including requirements definition, system architecture, risk analysis, and verification & validation
• Manage front-end systems engineering deliverables related to requirements, risks, trade studies, and testing
• Plan and execute requirements management, risk analysis, and V&V activities
• Analyze complex technical problems, develop solution options, and support data-driven decision-making
• Conduct industry and technology assessments, including emerging trends and competitive product analysis
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Marketing, Operations, Quality, and Regulatory teams
• Engage with business stakeholders and Voice-of-Customer (VoC) representatives to align technical solutions with customer needs

Required Qualifications

• Experience in front-end Systems Engineering, including requirements engineering, architecture definition, risk management, and trade-off analysis
• Hands-on experience with systems and hardware integration and testing
• Experience working in a regulated medical device environment
• Familiarity with FDA, ISO, and other applicable diagnostic product standards
• Experience using systems engineering tools such as RETINA or similar platforms

What are the main functions of this role?

o Develop, implement, and maintain EHS management systems in alignment with Raytheon EHS Management Systems Policies and Procedures

o Ensure system documentation (policies, procedures, work instructions, records) is current, accurate, and controlled.

o Partnering within and outside of EH&S to manage the EH&S website to ensure information is up to date.

o Developing and disseminating EH&S communications throughout the Tucson region.

o Define and manage EHS performance metrics and dashboards.

o Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.

o Prepare reports for leadership reviews and management system meetings.

o Partner with operations, engineering, quality, and other functions to develop EH&S council presentations and define an EH&S council structure

o Support regulatory inspections and internal/external audits.

Required Skill Sets:

o Knowledge and ability to apply OSHA regulations and ANSI Standards.

o Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint or similar software platforms

o Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple projects and programs in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate effective prioritization and implementation skills.

o Be flexible to accept additional assignments, campaigns and rotations to other EH&S programs.

Desired Skill Sets:

o Knowledge of Enablon EH&S software.

o Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP).

o Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)

 The Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) organization within RTX drives business success by providing a variety of critical engineering services across product lines and functions. 

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time position of Principal Integrated Product Manager, located onsite in Tucson, Arizona. This position requires leading a team of multi-discipline engineers, providing technical and execution oversight, and managing multiple projects for a program. Qualifications You Must Have:  

• Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of eight (8) years’ prior relevant experience

• Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Program management. 

• Experience with Test Systems Engineering or equivalent Engineering experience for both hardware and test software development, integration, verification, validation, and maintenance activities within production, manufacturing, product qualification environments. 

• Experience with program management tools such as EVMS, Integrated Master Plan (IMP), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), and Risk and Opportunity Management. 

• Experience with budget, schedule, Estimate at Complete (EAC) process, and financial performance report generation with Test Systems Engineering or equivalent Engineering programs. 

• Experience with Budget Change Request (BCR) and Basis of Estimate (BOE) generation for Test Systems Engineering programs. 

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams. 

• EVMS certification, Program Management certification, or equivalent to Raytheon PM Level 6 certification 

• Demonstrate IPTL experience showing the ability to collaborate with program office, cross-functional teams, and internal/external customers. 

• Strong influential communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present analytic and performance results from program to functional leadership. 

• Experience in small/medium program execution  

• Demonstrate understanding of engineering development, transition to production, production, and maintenance. 

• Experience with proposal capture and contract processes from receipt of RFP, preparing Basis of Estimates, proposal submittal, preparing Statements of Work, contract startup and contract close-out. 

• Experience with all the functionalities of Automation Test Equipment/Unit Under Test (ATE/UUT). 

• Agile Methodologies understanding.
