This role owns electrical scope from early development through construction, commissioning, and operations. Key Responsibilities

• Lead all electrical engineering activities for utility-scale solar and BESS projects across development, design, construction, commissioning, and operations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
• Minimum 15+ years of professional electrical engineering experience
• At least 5+ years working on utility-scale solar projects (BESS experience strongly preferred)
• Proven experience in engineering management and technical leadership
• Strong working knowledge of: MV/HV electrical systems, Substations, Protection & Control and Grid interconnection
• In-depth understanding of U.S. electrical codes and standards (NEC, IEEE)
• Direct experience with ERCOT and Texas interconnection requirements
• Experience working with EPC contractors and field construction teams
• Strong technical documentation, design review, and approval capabilities

As the R&D Senior Software Engineer, you are an expert in Linux development using both C++ and Python. You have experience designing production ready software and understand the patterns and architectures used to create reliable and maintainable codebases. You have experience with common robotics software tools and concepts such as ROS, motor control, localization, navigation, and sensor hardware technology such as LiDAR, Cameras, Motors, Encoders, etc. Most importantly, you have experience leading teams, driving processes, inspiring software engineers, and creating strong team cultures with open communication.

Job Summary

The Director, Facilities Design is responsible for overseeing design projects for Sysco's global operations. Sysco Corporation's facilities design function is responsible for the conceptual design of new and renovated facilities including floorplans, site plans, and elevations. The design function works closely with Supply Chain Engineering, Construction, Finance, and Operations to develop facility designs that best meet the needs of the individual business units. The Sysco design team then collaborates with and directs outsourced architectural and engineering design teams to develop signed and sealed construction documents to be used for permitting and field operations. The Sysco design team is responsible for archiving and maintaining current all facility A/E and material handling system documents for all operations.

Sysco's portfolio of real estate holdings includes over 250 major owned and leased properties (primarily distribution centers, processing plants, and office facilities) as well as over 500 minor owned and leased properties (primarily shuttle yards and remote domicile yards). Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of 8 Sysco direct employees who work closely with the business units, supply chain engineering and the construction group in planning, preliminary design, layout iterations RFP (request for proposal) documentation and final design coordination for multiple projects nationwide.

Education

Experience

• Experience with food processing or food distribution facilities projects required

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
