Bauer is seeking a Buyer to support procurement, supplier coordination, and material availability for our FAA Part 145 aerospace MRO operation. This role is responsible for sourcing and purchasing aircraft engine accessory parts, repair services, and special process services necessary to support component teardown, repair, overhaul, and return-to-service activities. The Buyer will work closely with Quality, Engineering, and Shop Operations to ensure timely material availability while maintaining full FAA-compliant traceability and documentation. Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Material Sourcing

  • Source and purchase aircraft engine accessory parts, rotables, and consumables required for component repair and overhaul
  • Obtain quotations, negotiate pricing and delivery terms, and issue purchase orders
  • Support sourcing of OEM, PMA, DER-approved, and aftermarket components where applicable
  • Monitor open purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve supplier delays
  • Coordinate repair, exchange, and replacement transactions with external suppliers and service providers


Supplier Coordination & Special Process Support

  • Work with approved vendors providing special processes such as NDT, plating, heat treat, and other subcontracted repair services
  • Assist with supplier communication regarding turnaround times, pricing, and technical requirements
  • Support supplier performance monitoring and corrective action activities when issues arise
  • Maintain accurate supplier records and documentation supporting traceability and compliance


Material Planning & Inventory Support

  • Coordinate material procurement in support of teardown findings, repair routing requirements, and production schedules
  • Support forecasting and planning for replacement parts and rotables required for repair operations
  • Assist with inventory management activities including stock replenishment and reorder levels
  • Work with operations and inspection personnel to ensure materials are available when required for production


Receiving Documentation & Regulatory Compliance

  • Support FAA-compliant receiving documentation review, including validation of:
  • FAA Form 8130-3
  • EASA Form 1
  • Certificate of Conformance
  • traceability documentation
  • Ensure all purchased materials meet regulatory and quality requirements prior to acceptance
  • Maintain documentation records supporting full traceability for FAA and customer audits


Logistics & Material Movement

Experience

Essential Job Duties:

  • Conduct security, quality and EH&S audits to ensure the safety of employees on the second shift, and compliance with company and customer policies.

Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum of 10 years progressive career in the manufacturing of precision machined components in a regulated industry such as aerospace or medical. Previous experience in a high mix, low volume shop with an emphasis on lean manufacturing preferred.
  • Working knowledge of ISO/AS quality standards, basic OSHA/EHS safety regulations, and a commitment to adherence of company policies.

About the Role:

The Facilities & Projects Engineer is responsible for leading and executing facility engineering and capital improvement projects that support safe, efficient, and compliant operations. Specifically, this role will manage the expansion of Circular’s Anaerobic Digestion and food recycling facility in Southington, CT. This role manages projects from early concepts and design through construction, commissioning, and close-out. They will work closely with operations, consultants, contractors, and vendors. The position plays a key role in maintaining and improving industrial infrastructure while supporting Circular Services’ sustainability and operational goals.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead facility engineering and capital improvement projects, including scoping, planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution
  • Manage projects from concept, design, and permitting through construction and commissioning
  • Oversee mechanical and electrical equipment installations, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements
  • Coordinate closely with operations teams, consulting engineers, contractors, and equipment vendors to ensure project alignment and execution
  • Review bids, proposals, and cost estimates for construction and engineering services
  • Identify project risks, troubleshoot technical and schedule issues, and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure all work complies with applicable building codes, industrial standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements
  • Monitor contractor performance, safety compliance, and quality of work on site
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, schedules, and budgets
  • Provide regular project updates and status reports to senior leadership


Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering, industrial facility management, or construction project management
  • Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and contractor oversight
  • Experience working in industrial or plant-based environments
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Kelly is currently seeking an experienced Powder Coat Specialist for a Direct Hire opportunity in Farmington, CT! The Powder Coat Specialist will perform all painting-related processes to make sure that all parts are delivered in time and zero defect.


Powder Coat Specialist Responsibilities

  • Load parts onto conveyor line and ensure proper preparation for paint/powder coating (tape, plug, bond, etc.).
  • Ensure parts are clean and dry before entering the paint/powder coat spray booth.
  • Unload parts from the conveyor line and ensure 100% quality of all parts.
  • Ensure that all parts are delivered in a manner that prevents damage or defects and with proper paperwork.
  • Follow and adhere to the rework policies when handling defective parts from final customer or internal production.
  • Must be able to effectively use area tools and equipment, such as forklifts, drill press, power drills, air tools, hand grinders/orbital tools, pressure washers, etc.
  • Deburr, grind and clean sheet metal parts that require touch-up or rework.
  • Ability to make necessary adjustments to cleaning solutions of parts wash line.
  • Assist in paint color changeovers at the spray booths.
  • Perform routine checks following the standard processes in the powder coat area.
  • Read and understand blueprints and written specifications (also in metric system).
  • Must have ability to stand for extended periods of time, bend and lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Support and perform 5S and preventive maintenance activities to maintain area equipment and environment.
  • Support Shop Floor Management in the area. Improving all related processes.


Experience/Education

  • Previous experience in an industrial/ manufacturing environment and/or powder coating area is preferred.
  • Knowledge in metal preparation and powder painting strongly preferred.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of MS Office products, quality and lean manufacturing techniques is a plus.
  • Two-year technical degree or the suitable combination of education and work experience.
