As a Sr. FPGA Verification Engineer at Reliable Robotics, you will be a part of the Embedded Systems team. The Embedded Systems team owns the complete lifecycle of the firmware and software platform that lies at the heart of the Reliable Robotics autonomy stack. We provide dependable computing, networking, signal acquisition, and motor control solutions that bring our aircraft to life. Responsibilities

In your role as Sr. FPGA Verification Engineer, you will own the FPGA integration and test environment for multiple airborne products including their test benches & simulation, continuous integration, timing analysis, elemental analysis, and build. You will develop DO-254 compliant processes for peer review and testing, perform qualification of relevant design and verification tools, and develop strategies for efficient verification of the product. Your contributions will directly enable the efficient realization of safe and dependable airborne electronic hardware at Reliable Robotics.

Basic Success Criteria

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent experience

You will have these responsibilities:

• Apply systems safety methodologies as defined by industry standards

• Develop new processes / methodologies used to certify autonomous / remote operations

• Perform safety activities in coordination with design, development and verification of aviation systems including: Generate safety artifacts such as FHAs & Safety Assessments for aircraft, systems and equipment. Generate reliability or testability assessments to support safety activities. Validate safety requirements in collaboration with systems teams. In your role as a Radar Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing phased array radar systems and developing radar processing algorithms to enable short, long range object tracking, and radar image generation. You will be involved in all phases of development from conception to production, designing your algorithms in Matlab, Python, and implementation in C++ on the target hardware. You will drive the system-level requirements of the phased array radar system, and drive trade studies collaborating with the cross functional teams. You will support the integration of the radar on the aircraft and support data collection and analysis during flight testing. Responsibilities

In your role as a Displays Software Engineer, your primary focus will be designing, architecting, and building a variety of real-time user interface applications for controlling our automated aircraft systems. These can range from real-time embedded UIs on aviation-grade hardware to browser-based applications. All of these applications will support our work to build a fully certified system in multiple ways: they will serve as a platform for rapidly prototyping different workflows and designs; they will be directly used in our ongoing experimental test flight programs; and they will ultimately serve as a reference implementation for our certified displays and controls. You will have ownership over the entire lifecycle of these applications, and will work with software engineers and designers within the team, as well as systems engineers and pilots to build systems that are safe, user-centered, and certifiable.

Flight Software links together the mechanical, avionics, algorithmic, and embedded worlds to actually make the airplane fly. As a Flight Software Test V&V Engineer, you will develop the test cases to support the test verification processes ensuring that the aviation products we develop are safe to fly and help provide a high-fidelity training environment for our flight-test crews.

Responsibilities

As a Flight Software Test V&V Engineer on the Simulation and Test Systems team, you will be instrumental in testing and deploying autonomous aircraft software. The Simulation and Test Systems team architects, builds, and maintains the hardware and software infrastructure necessary to verify aircraft performance prior to flight testing. Your responsibilities include verifying flight software functionality across diverse integrated test environments, such as software-in-the-loop (SIL), hardware-in-the-loop (HITL), and on-aircraft testing. You will also author and execute test procedures for on-ground aircraft testing.

A key part of this role involves designing, building, and maintaining automated test scripts within our test ecosystem. These scripts will support functional testing and requirements-driven software tests necessary for FAA certification.

This is a highly collaborative, hands-on position. You will coordinate with engineering teams throughout the company to develop test plans, execute tests, investigate issues, and drive problems to closure. You will also be responsible for the maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of test and simulation equipment.

The harness engineer is a very cross-functional role at the convergence of the avionics, mechanical, integration, and production teams, with significant hands-on work designing, building, integrating, and testing our harnesses, enclosures, and mounting hardware; expect to broaden your design and application experience.

Responsibilities

In your role as a Harness Engineer you will work with the avionics, mechanical, and integration teams to define the harnessing design, including routing, component selection, and manufacturing and integration processes. You'll be responsible for the detailed design of both flight and test harnesses, and you'll be working with the production technicians and A&Ps to get the harnesses built and installed on the aircraft. Qualifications:
