Primary Duties: 

  • Performs full range of MR imaging procedures promptly on all patient types as specified by the protocol. The ability to perform venipuncture, injection of contrast media, and non-narcotic medication is required for effective diagnostic imaging and scanning. Must adhere to the direction, policy, and procedures as defined by physician modality director.  

  • Strict adherence to research guidelines for studies performed on patients participating in research studies. Adheres to the policies and procedures that apply to the performance of obtaining MR studies and MR guided procedures, including performing correct, exam, including laterality, on the correct patient at the time requested.  

  • Provides basic information to patients and/or families about procedures to be performed and can answer questions if asked. Assists with the upkeep of MR and related equipment, adhering to all related safety requirements and reports needed for equipment repairs. Can execute and enforce MR Safety standards and practices.  

  • Monitors equipment, analyses potential reasons for system malfunction, contacts the Biomedical engineering department and reports malfunction to log a ticket. Ensures timely completion of all exams through tracking, scanning, and other technical workflow as related to Radiology Information System (RIS, Enterprise Radiology Solutions (ERS) and EMR (Electronic Medical Record).  

  • Coordinates and collaborates with Technical Aides to ensure efficient room turnover. Coordinates, communicates, and collaborates with Patient Financial Associates that register radiology exams to minimize delays and potential safety issues for the outpatient population. 

 

Qualifications:  

  • Vocational/Technical Diploma from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology; competency in didactic coursework and an ARRT-specified list of clinical procedures by completing competency requirements established for the discipline in which they are seeking certification and registration. 

  • ARMRIT (American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists) or ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technology); with advanced certification in MR.  

  • BLS (Basic Life Support).

The IAC MAC program provides innovative technical solutions and information services that advance research, development, and operational capabilities across DoD and Federal agencies.

Responsibilities Creating and implementing standard operating procedures for reality capture across the enterprise.

Managing our inventory of equipment and maintaining relationships with vendors Closely coordinating with HITT’s BIM Coordination Associates and Managers, ensuring quality data capture against BIM models.

Evaluating new technologies and methodologies for potential deployment and presenting effective business case for all.

Leading a team of Associates in laser scanning and photo/drone capture efforts.

Collaborate with HITT Operations teams to understand project requirements and identify opportunities for reality capture implementation.

Oversight and management of access and internal billings for project teams utilizing reality capture services, including but not limited to: OpenSpace, DroneDeploy, NavVis, etc.

Manage data processing workflows to generate actionable insights and deliverables for project stakeholders.

Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of reality capture data.

Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify the quality of captured data and address any issues promptly.

Provide training and technical support to project teams on reality capture technologies and workflows.

Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the organization.

Stay informed about emerging trends and advancements in reality capture technologies and techniques.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Construction Management, Building Science, Engineering, Architecture) or equivalent experience.

3-5 years of specific BIM/VDC experience, preferably in roles involving project management, surveying, or geospatial data management.

Experience with reality capture technologies such as 3D laser scanning, photogrammetry, drone-based surveying, and LiDAR.

Familiarity with point cloud processing tools (Recap, FARO Scene, Leica Cyclone, NavVis, etc.).

Working knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, DroneDeploy, OpenSpace, Microsoft Office.

Strong understanding of surveying principles, geospatial data management, and coordinate systems.

Strong technical troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently in the field and collaborate with diverse project teams.
