The Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) Program/Project Manager for New Product Development (NPD) provides strategic leadership and hands-on orchestration of complex, cross-functional, system-level engineering programs that span hardware, controls, software and manufacturing domains from concept through commercialization. This leader builds and manages integrated program plans across all functions to deliver innovative solutions that meet the highest safety, quality, cost, customer value and overall business impact. The Program/Project Manager fosters collaboration, innovation and learning across functions and drives execution through schedule integrity (capacity planning, critical path), proactively identifies and mitigates risks, ensures manufacturing and supplier readiness, and facilitates governance using Rite-Hite's New Product Development process and the appropriate Waterfall/Agile/Hybrid methods. Additionally, the Program/Project Manager will help evolve and shape Rite-Hite's NPD process to scale appropriately for the various types of NPD projects and business needs while driving consistent adoption through the NPD stakeholder community. The Program/Project Manager integrates systems thinking, data-driven decision-making, and an iterative approach to accelerate value delivery and build a culture of transparency and continuous improvement.
KEY OUTCOMES
- On-time to launch: 90% of NPD stage gate milestones met; 85% of programs launch on or before target dates.
- Quality at launch and customer value: First-pass build yield and early field performance meet or exceed targets; post-launch defect rate/warranty within target thresholds while delivering tangible customer and market value.
- Business case realization: Internal program cost + orders, sales and margin aligned with business case; variance drivers identified with corrective actions.
- Readiness: Manufacturing, supplier, service and go-to-market readiness complete per integrated system-level program plan; no critical "late surprises."
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Strategic Leadership:
Partner with the business unit leadership team to execute prioritized complex, multi-disciplinary New Product Development programs to deliver target safety, quality, cost, customer value and overall business impact.
- Ensure alignment on requirements (VOC), product/feature scope and acceptance criteria.
- Apply systems engineering management principles to ensure integration across mechanical, controls, electrical, and software disciplines.
- Facilitate business and technical trade-offs to protect customer value; escalate issues with data, options and recommendations.
- Act as a connector between strategy and execution, aligning engineering, product, and business roadmaps.
- Provide thought leadership on program management best practices and emerging trends and supporting technologies in the field.
- Support business unit annual capacity planning to help determine next fiscal year roadmaps and strategic plans.
Program and Project Management:
Aligned with the business unit strategy and roadmap, build and maintain integrated program plans across Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Quality, Distribution, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Applications, Service, IT, HR, Legal/IP and Finance.
- Own the integrated program plan with explicit dependencies, resource loading and a continuously maintained critical path.
- Establish and manage scope/schedule/cost baselines with formal change control.
- Maintain a living schedule risk analysis with scenario planning; create what-if plans and recovery paths.
Governance and Standardization:
Adhere to enterprise-wide project management methodologies, frameworks and processes. Ensure consistent application of governance policies, risk management, and quality assurance across all projects and programs.
- Operate within Rite-Hite's New Product Development process; scale the process as appropriate for the scope of each program; prepare and run program reviews (core team, stakeholder updates, stage gates with clear entry/exit criteria), documented decisions and follow-ups.
- Champion and continuously improve Rite-Hite's New Product Development stage gate process across all functions with ongoing training, standard tools/templates, and best practice sharing.
- Blend Waterfall/Agile/Hybrid appropriately across hardware and embedded/software components; ensure traceability from requirements to test/validation.
- Identify and eliminate systemic bottlenecks that limit innovation or cross-functional efficiency.
Resource Management:
Lead resource planning and allocation across projects and programs to ensure optimal utilization. Identify and resolve labor, asset, plant, vendor, etc. conflicts and ensure adequate staffing for high-priority projects. Proactively surface cross-program dependencies and resolve conflicts.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Link to established business unit KPIs (e.g., on-time stage gates) and establish program-specific leading indicator KPIs (e.g., critical path health) to monitor program health. Track program budgets, capital/tooling and unit economics; partner with product management and finance on business case gating and post-launch performance. Use data-driven insights to inform decisions and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads without direct authority; fosters a culture of accountability, transparency and continuous improvement.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field from an accredited 4-year university.
- 5-10 years' experience leading complex new product development and system-level programs for industrial/electro-mechanical products or integrated controls-software offerings from concept through launch, with expertise in critical path, dependency mapping and integrated cross-functional planning.
- 3-5 years' experience in a senior role within an EPMO or similar role with oversight of strategic direction or project management across an organization.
- Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional hardware, software and service programs with manufacturing and supply chain integration in a matrix-based organization.
- Experience operating within a stage-gate or milestone NPD process; familiarity with DFM, FMEA, V&V, pilot builds and commercialization.
- Proven track record delivering on schedule and business case with rigorous risk management and change control.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation and stakeholder alignment skills.
- Strong experience in managing relationships, facilitating discussions and resolving conflicts with senior leadership, business leaders and other key stakeholders, with the ability to influence decision-making and drive alignment across an organization.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience in manufacturing and sales/industrial equipment industries.
- Experience with loading dock equipment, industrial doors, safety barriers, industrial fans and other material-handling/in-plant safety equipment.
- Experience with Jama, Jira and Confluence management tools.

Position Summary
We are seeking a 2nd Shift Turbine Mechanic (4 - 10's) to work out of our Milwaukee Service Center. This position is responsible for the disassembly, assembly, and mechanical operations on a variety of steam turbine spindles, casings, and valves where methods are standardized and prescribed. Work from assembly drawings and specifications to do skilled fitting, aligning, and adjusting along with some secondary machining. Use a wide variety of precision measuring instruments and gauging devices.
Essential Duties
- Receive and inspect incoming turbine components, take digital pictures of shipping container, cribbing, rigging techniques, and all parts.
- Measure and record the critical dimensions of the turbine components.
- Charting of the disassembly of the blades and proper labeling.
- Perform proper blade straightening and repairs procedures.
- Perform blade setlliting and stiffener repairs technique.
- Remove and install seals, disassemble, and assemble valves, and perform blade ring assembly procedures.
- Repair or rebuild hydrogen seal assemblies and rigging and shipping skid setup.
- Operate the manual grinding, milling, turning, and sawing machinery as required for installation and final fitting of turbine blade seals, and valves.
- Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations.

- May be assigned other tasks where similar or lesser skills are required or where activities are monitored – usually short duration to meet production requirements.
Education and Required Experience
- 10+ years mechanical background with turbine experience a plus
- 5 years basic machining practices.
- Ability to properly operate overhead cranes and lift trucks.
- Solid math skills with the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers including decimals and fractions. Simple use of formulas, blueprints, specifications, and tables.
- Capable of using various types of precision measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of design and basic mechanical principles.
- Ability to work from engineering drawings and process drawings
- Pendant crane certified 5 & 10 ton and greater with basic to advanced hitching knowledge.
- Honing and lapping, gland packing, use of radio-controlled bridge cranes, blading, babbiting, radial drill press, turbine alignment, tight wire, and oil seal repair.

Job Summary
The Project Manager – Steam Turbine Generator Controls is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing multiple concurrent, long-term controls projects in support of new Steam Turbine Generator installations. This role serves as the primary interface between customers, internal engineering teams, field services, suppliers, and Toshiba Japan, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within scope, and in compliance with contractual, regulatory, and cybersecurity requirements.
In addition to project execution, this role is responsible for coordinating and supporting New Unit customer training and capability development related to turbine and generator control systems.
Project Management & Execution
- Manage multiple concurrent, long-duration Steam Turbine Generator controls projects from contract award through commissioning and closeout.
- Develop and maintain integrated project execution plans, schedules, and risk registers across multiple projects.
- Coordinate internal resources across Controls Engineering, Field Services, Commercial, Supply Chain, and Quality.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, and financial performance; identify and mitigate execution risks.
- Lead scope, schedule, and cost change management activities with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Own end-to-end commercial execution for controls projects, including procurement strategy, vendor quotation management, billing milestones, invoicing coordination, and financial closeout.

As part of our digital transformation journey, we are seeking a Systems Architect, Edge AI/ML to help build and scale intelligent systems that deliver real-time insights, automation support, and customer value at the edge of industrial environments.
The Systems Architect, Edge AI/ML is responsible for defining and guiding the architecture for artificial intelligence and machine learning deployed on devices and edge platforms. This role ensures that AI/ML solutions are scalable, reliable, secure, and aligned with enterprise product and platform objectives.
The architect partners closely with product management, device and edge software teams, data and cloud teams, and digital solution leaders to translate business and customer requirements into robust AI/ML foundations that enable consistent behavior, efficient lifecycle management, and high-quality user experiences across industrial environments.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Edge AI/ML Architecture Strategy- Define and maintain reference architectures, design patterns, and standards for deploying AI and ML models on edge devices and platforms.
- Establish common approaches for data ingestion, feature pipelines, model inference, performance optimization, and lifecycle management at the edge.
- Ensure architectural decisions support real-time operation, scalability, reliability, safety, and security.
- Drive the strategic use of AI and ML at the edge by establishing repeatable patterns for model development, deployment, monitoring, and update.
- Own a portion of the internal technology radar related to AI/ML, edge analytics, and sensing technologies.
- Foster a culture of responsible, ethical, and transparent AI practices aligned with cybersecurity, privacy, and safety requirements.
- Partner with product management and engineering teams to enable AI-driven capabilities such as condition monitoring, vision-based sensing, anomaly detection, and predictive insights.
- Guide architectural decisions related to edge compute constraints, sensor integration, and real-time inference workloads.
- Promote reuse and consistency of AI/ML components across products and platforms.
- Define patterns for integration between edge AI/ML solutions, device software, hybrid mobile applications, and enterprise or cloud-based platforms.
- Ensure solutions support online, offline, and hybrid deployment models common in industrial environments.
- Promote interoperability with internal systems and approved third-party technologies.
- Define secure-by-design and safety-aligned principles for AI/ML model deployment and operation at the edge.
- Ensure alignment with applicable safety, quality, and industrial cybersecurity standards.
- Participate in architecture and design reviews to assess risk, resilience, and compliance.
- Collaborate across product management, device and edge software, data science, cloud platforms, manufacturing, service, and mobile application teams.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineers and teams working with AI/ML technologies.
- Serve as a technical advisor in strategic customer conversations and enterprise implementations when appropriate.
- This role does not have direct reports but is expected to provide technical leadership and architectural guidance across multiple teams.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field required; Master's degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience delivering AI/ML-enabled solutions, with demonstrated experience deploying models in edge or resource-constrained environments.
- Experience with industrial, connected, or safety-critical systems preferred.
Knowledge / Skill Requirements
- Strong understanding of AI/ML architectures, model lifecycle management, and real-time inference at the edge.
- Experience designing systems that balance performance, accuracy, latency, and resource constraints.
- Ability to think systemically across sensors, devices, edge platforms, mobile applications, and cloud services.
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Familiarity with industrial automation, IoT ecosystems, or computer vision is a plus.
