This position will act as a Supervisor role over the night shift Respiratory Care staff, including RC techs and RRT's. They will assist manager in interviewing, hiring, onboarding/training, scheduling, of new night shift staff and oversee job duties and performance for these staff. Preparation techniques must adhere to all sanitary regulation and standards established by regulating agencies and the healthcare facility. Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for this position is $23.79per hour - $39.73per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model. $5,000 sign-on bonus and $5,000 relocation (for greater than 100 miles) or $2,500 relocation (for greater than 50 miles) for nurses with 1 or more years experience - External Applicants Only
The Ambulatory Nurse utilizes a systematic approach to nursing by incorporating assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in the practice of nursing. Provides healthcare to individuals, families, and communities within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Illinois Board of Nursing. The patient population consists of individuals having neck, back, or spine related diagnosis.
Qualifications
License/Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA); Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
Education:
H.S. Diploma/GED; Associate's Degree

Responsibilities
Provides and facilitates competent health care of patients and families in area of practice. Ensures adherence to established standards of care and scope of practice. Ensures documentation of care is complete and accurate. Provides health and wellness education to individuals and groups. Acts as preceptor and supports the development of other staff and healthcare students. Provides leadership for initiatives designed to improve the quality of care or clinical outcomes. Assists Nursing Supervisor/coordinator in the development of departmental standing orders. Triage patient phone calls Assist in procedures in the Injection Suite Start IVs MRI and Injection screenings Patient education for surgeries and injections Remove staples or stitches Assist MDs with office procedures Surgery scheduling
