Seed IP Law Group is seeking a patent attorney with an electrical engineering background with three to five years of patent drafting and prosecution experience in a law firm, in-house, or with a university tech transfer department. ‑ Cleanroom Design & Optimization including HVAC Systems, Filtration & Purification Systems.
‑ Works closely with other architects, engineers, and designers, as well as other internal & external team members to ensure a coordinated, constructible, and complete design.
‑ Project work may include All Levels of Design such as Studies, Conceptual and Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documentation and Construction Administration.
‑ Proficient at fundamental discipline design calculations under the supervision of an engineer; experience performing engineering calculations, developing & implementing list of discipline systems designs.
‑ Proficiency in engineering software applications including computer-aided drafting, process modeling and calculation programs ‑ Manage project scopes, budgets, schedules, and client communications like a boss.
‑ Coordinate deliverables across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and specialty process systems (think clean steam, WFI, lab gases, etc.).
‑ Forecast resourcing needs and timelines without micromanaging—but with precision.
‑ Attend project meetings (virtually and sometimes in-person), speak client, and translate engineering speak with grace.
‑ Keep the team focused, the clients confident, and the documentation tight.
‑ Project Management experience is a Plus..
