The ideal candidate will have a solid background supporting both Mac and Windows enterprise environments (over 500 end users), with a stronger emphasis on Mac. Experience supporting SaaS applications such as Okta, Slack, Google Workspace, Github, Gitlab administration, GenAI LLM platform administration are needed. White-glove support supporting VIPs/executives is highly preferred.

The IT Service Desk Technician provides basic technical assistance and support to internal end users as well as augments the IT Service Desk Team by performing repetitive tasks and functions, such as imagining hardware, swapping devices, and counting IT hardware inventory.

Responsibilities:

• Be the face of IT to corporate employees in the respective office location.
• Ensure that the physical IT technology in the office is operational (e.g. AV rooms, wifi, badge readers, cameras, etc).
• Oversee the suite of collaboration tooling in use and ensure end users have great experiences using the tools provided.
• Work to improve the procurement and asset management practices for IT hardware and software.
• Be responsible for the physical inventory of computer assets, and ensure the local equipment is tracked efficiently and securely.
• Work with Finance and IT leadership to manage budgets and costs for IT spend.
• Work with the broader IT team to provide training, documentation, and learning opportunities to peers and IT staff on support processes and techniques.
• Execute standard Onboarding & Offboarding processes for employees joining and leaving the company.
• Engage directly with employees and internal users who are experiencing IT related service issues. Resolve incidents such as network access, hardware break/fix, and software related problems as well as execution of defined service requests (e.g., installing licensed software, provisioning user access to software applications).
• Use defined escalation processes to escalate support issues that require staff with specialized skills or higher-level administrative permissions to resolve.
• Utilize standard operation procedures (SOPs) to perform routine tasks and work with engineering teams to define new SOPs for common support functions.
• Participate in after-hours, on-call support rotation.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of IT end user support experience in a Mac focused environment (80% Mac/20% Windows)
• Prior experience providing Desktop Support at Tier 2 levels as well as being in an active member of an on-call support rotation.
• Experience using desktop imagining and MDM tools, such as Intune, SmartImager, Imperious, and SmartDeploy.
• Thorough knowledge of PC hardware, PDA devices, desktop software, Windows 10 and 11, O365, anti-virus, internet browsers, and network connectivity.
• Hands-on experience working with and updating support tickets in a ticket management platform such as ServiceNow, Zendesk, or Jira.
• Customer focused approach to delivering excellent service and support to internal customers.

The estimated pay range for this position is USD $39.00/Hr. - USD $42.00/Hr.

As a Sr. Hardware Test Engineer at Reliable Robotics, you will be a critical part of the Hardware Test team. This is a small team of broadly experienced engineers that strive to ensure that all hardware being produced meets the stringent requirements for aviation. You will be one of the essential interfaces between the design, production, and flight test teams and will be exposed to a wide variety of technical challenges.

You will be architecting automated test stands to replicate extreme flight conditions on our hardware and mechanisms that will serve as the backbone of our qualification testing. You will help to break our development hardware, help root-cause the failure modes, and provide critical input in redesigning it. You will be writing the software and building the hardware platforms for the command, control and data collection systems that will test our systems to rigorous aerospace standards. You will be a technical leader on a team eager to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Full ownership of the design, build, and maintenance of mechanical or electrical test stands for development testing, production acceptance testing, functional and environmental qualification testing

• Automate the repetitive aspects of the test stands

• Author, execute, and audit test plans, procedures, and reports

• Work closely with design engineers and flight test engineers to design, build, test and improve flight hardware

• Help the team grow and provide mentorship to peers

Basic Success Criteria

• B.S. Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent industry experience

• 5+ years of industry experience testing hardware in a regulated industry

• Professional knowledge of ECAD tools such as Altium OR MCAD tools such as NX

• Experience with software design and implementation in Python or C/C++

• Strong understanding of mechanical or electrical engineering fundamentals

• Eagerness for hands-on work - integration of sensors, building test fixtures, diagnosing and debugging equipment and hardware

• Proven ability to methodically diagnose, document, and solve hardware problems

• A demonstrated passion for mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical hardware

Preferred Criteria

• 8+ years experience in aerospace test planning and execution

• A history working on and around aircraft

• Prior experience with aerospace qualification testing standards (MIL-STD-810, RTCA DO-160, or similar) and the aircraft certification process

• Comfort reviewing technical designs and working from drawings, schematics, layouts, assembly/procedures, master parts lists, and other controlled documentation

• Mastery of test instrumentation and data collection methods; ability to design a data acquisition system from the ground up

• Working understanding of measurement and data analysis; ability to clearly present technical data and state its limitations

• Demonstrated proficiency building/fabricating machine parts, cable assemblies, or other testing, integration, or assembly experience

• Eagerness to learn, teach, and adapt; help us grow as both a development and production operation

As a Performance Engineer, you will:

• Work with internal development teams and the open source community to proactively drive performance improvements/optimizations across our data warehouse and Data Engineering stack.

• Work with product managers, developers and the field team to understand performance and scale requirements, and develop benchmarks based on these requirements.

• Develop automation to execute benchmarks, collect and aggregate metrics and profiles, and report results, trends, and regressions.

• Analyze performance and scalability characteristics to identify bottlenecks in large-scale distributed systems.

• Perform root cause analysis of performance issues identified by internal testing and from customers and suggest corrective actions.

• Evaluate performance of systems and provide related guidance to the team.

• Experience with benchmark and performance test design. You eshould understand basic concepts of performance testing including different types of performance tests (microbenchmarks, end-to-end benchmarks, concurrency and scale testing), how to reduce (or deal with) noise in test results, etc.

• Experience designing performance tests that provide useful insights into specific aspects of performance.

• Solid understanding of basic performance theory - in particular a very good understanding of latency, throughput, and concurrency and how they relate to each other.

• Strong understanding of the types of workloads they'll be testing Ideally they should have specific experience creating performance tests for the specific product area they'll be working on (SQL, ML, etc).

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

You might also have:

• Experience with the Hadoop ecosystem (i.e. Hive, Impala, Spark), in specific Prior work on largescale data lakehouse or datawarehouse performance

• Hands-on experience with containerization, Kubernetes, public cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure and/or GCP) and mesh-networks

• Certifications: CKA/CKAD, AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Cloud Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent.

As a Mission Systems Engineer at Reliable Robotics, you will be a part of the Systems team and will report to the Systems & Safety Manager. The Systems & Safety Team is responsible for architecting systems that support novel safety-critical functions, establishing development methodologies for new technologies, and complying with the federal regulations.

As part of an experienced multi-disciplinary team, you will contribute to expanding the aircraft's mission and functional capabilities. Your first-hand pilot experience and your engineering experience in design and development will further strengthen the team's ability to meet rigorous expectations of stakeholders and certification authorities. You will collaborate with members from other groups within Reliable Robotics to develop new and novel systems necessary for unmanned aircraft operations.

Responsibilities

• In your role as a Mission Systems Engineer you will contribute to the development of prototypes and certifiable safety-critical flight systems in a dynamic start-up work environment

• Define and document mission-related aspects of future aircraft operation using insight from a pilot's perspective

• Define and communicate strategies and plans for type certification and operational approval

• Develop training and support documents needed to deploy autonomous systems in an operational environment
