Responsibilities
  • Run a full cycle inside sales process, including prospecting, discovery, demos, pricing, negotiation, and closing.
  • Generate your own pipeline, using outbound calls, emails, sequences, and follow-up to reach decision-makers.
  • Drive new customer acquisition through a mix of inbound follow-up and outbound prospecting.
  • Manage a fast-paced pipeline, balancing new opportunities daily while keeping active deals moving efficiently.

About the role:


Based in Washington, DC this role is responsible for increasing Thryv’s penetration to the existing client base, increasing client engagement with existing software clients, and growing the SaaS client base through new sales. 7 News in Washington, DC is looking for a Broadcast Engineer! This individual will be responsible for installing and maintaining video, audio, and other equipment associated with television broadcasting.

This includes server-based record and play-out systems, non-linear editors, production switchers, routing switchers, MPEG encoders, decoders, automation, news room computer systems, data networks, and broadcast transmission equipment.

In addition, job responsibilities will include… Maintain and repair transmitters (AM, FM, TV, Microwave, Fiber, satellite, etc.), receivers, cameras, switchers, graphic systems, audio equipment, video tape systems, routers, automation/editing systems, intercoms, two-way radios, monitors and display systems Provide budget information to support the implementation of new systems Provide technical support to operational users Consult and communicate with engineering management and other engineers on technical issues as required Provide specific engineering signal flow diagrams for CAD documentation on all work performed on technical systems Perform all technical work to engineering standards and practices What skills do you need to be successful in our role? Minimum of 5 years’ broadcast experience Solid understanding of core hardware, computer systems, IP Networking and electrical systems Experience working with microwaves, transmitters and satellites is preferred Self-motivated and the ability to work efficiently without direct supervision Confidence in troubleshooting problems and effectively communicating solutions to internal and external customers Ability to read and understand technical materials Hold a valid driver's license Must be flexible to accommodate shift changes including extended hours, weekends, and evenings Ability to work on ladders, stand for long periods of time, and lift computers or equipment up to 50 lbs.

- GovCloud Job Description: A Senior Superintendent (Supt.) directs the work flow of the project on site consistent with the project schedule and HITT safety and quality standards.

The Senior Supt.

provides leadership and serves as the liaison between project team members to promote the interest of both the business and clients in all matters, as well as demonstrate the characteristics of a mid-level leader.

The SME will serve as a technical expert on executive-level project teams providing technical direction, interpretation, and alternatives. The individual in this role will provide support, analysis and research into exceptionally complex problems, and processes relating to the subject matter, with expertise in a particular area of Information Technology (e.g., Information Systems Architecture, Telecommunications Systems Design, Architecture, Implementation, Information Systems Integration, Software Development Methodologies, Security Engineering, Communications and Network Systems Management).


Responsibilities Include:



  • Evaluate new and emerging technologies through market research and prototyping to support customers business objectives.
  • Assess performance of existing network/ systems and proposed changes, including post-deployment analysis to ensure systems meet design specifications and operational expectations.
  • Develop Performance Management Plans (PMPs) and produce Performance Analysis Reports (PARs) documenting benchmarking methodologies, test conditions, procedures, and results.

  • Lead requirements development efforts by gathering, documenting, reviewing, consolidating, and refining functional and technical requirements in coordination with stakeholders.

  • Provide SME engineering services to design, configure, test, implement, and sustain STIG-compliant network and security architectures, including NAC (802.1x), reverse proxy and load balancing, web filtering, DNS/DHCP/IPAM, VPN, wireless/IDS, VDI support, VoIP/VTC/streaming, Check Point firewalls and MDM, NMS tool suites, MPLS architecture, SATCOM support, and DR/COOP planning; perform Tier IV troubleshooting and produce required technical documentation (ECRs, ITRs, NSOs, AARs, test plans/reports, and as-built diagrams).
  • Provide Cloud-certified SME engineering support for on-premises to Cloud migrations, coordinating with CSPs (e.g., Azure, AWS, Oracle, Google Cloud, MilCloud2) and facilitating integration with Secure Cloud Computing Architecture (SCCA) BCAP in multi-cloud environments.
