Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a candidate to fill the position of KC-46 Support Integration Specialist (Mid-Level) for the sustainment programs in Tukwila, WA This role will be responsible for the capture and execution of these sustainment efforts.
The selected candidate will work across a wide variety of organizations, functions, suppliers, and business units. This role will work closely with the Support Integration teams.
Position Responsibilities:
Planning and technical Integration of the Integrated Product Support elements to support integration operations

Position Responsibilities:
- Perform various duties using hand or power tools, including staking, filing, trimming, sawing, buffing, drilling, sanding, and filling to facilitate assigned tasks.
- Sort, count, wrap, unwrap, and clean parts, tools, assemblies, or equipment as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas by sweeping, cleaning, and picking up materials and parts.
- Move, pack, and unpack boxes, materials, parts, tools, and equipment, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Apply identification numbers or letters (part marks) to parts, materials, or assemblies using various marking methods (e.g., steel, rubber, electro-etch).
- Rack and unrack tubes and materials, applying dust caps and seals, and verifying configuration discrepancies against samples.
- Assist higher classification employees with mechanical and paint duties, including filling pots, moving lifts, and setting up/removing painting equipment.
- Maintain surveillance in paint and assembly areas, ensuring safety procedures are followed and assisting incapacitated employees as needed.
- Perform masking processes, including applying masking tape and protective materials to parts in preparation for painting or plating operations.
- Finish contoured and flat surfaces to required specifications using abrasive materials prior to and after painting, including hand touch-ups.
- Clean and service paint spray application equipment, including tanks, brushes, and hoses, after use.
- Review Work Orders (WOs) and drawings to determine work requirements and obtain necessary tools and specifications using online computing equipment.
- Operate and maintain the video jet marking machine, ensuring proper fluid levels and cleanliness of heads.
- Assist in the anodizing process by loading and unloading detail parts on/off the load bar and performing low-pressure tests on tubing.
- Count, load, and protective wrap finished production parts for shipment to the next operation, and log completed jobs into the Decac MRM system.
Physical Demands and Potential Hazards:
- Perform physical tasks that include lifting weights ranging from 10-15 lbs to 15-35 lbs.
- Engage in various movements such as reaching, handling, turning, twisting, lifting, lowering, climbing, balancing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and squatting.
- Work in environments that may involve contact with metals, solvents, and coolants.

- Ensure the plant employees and guests on site comply with safety and environmental practices – lead by example and build a safety first culture
- Lead production scheduling to meet customer needs including timely delivery
- Develop a keen focus on customer service and proactive communication across the team
- Partner with the engineering team to ensure proper drawings and designs are being used during the manufacturing process
- Purchase material/services to successfully operate the facility
- Successfully hire, supervise, orient, train and retain operations/product staff
- Promote and maintain a clean workplace that is “tour-ready” at all times
- Ability to read drawings, plan production tasks from those drawings, and coach employees to produce product correctly
- Ability to operate some of the standard tools on the plant floor such as overhead cranes, hand tools, batch plant, etc. While the Plant Manager will not be asked to operate these things continuously, having some of these skills will make him/her a better coach and troubleshooter
- Be a leader and coach leadership. Motivate crews during morning huddles. Lead effective Mid-Day meetings. Coach Leads on how to set expectations on a whiteboard and have them followed. Lead inventory counts. Promote safety best practices in meetings with other Plant Managers
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the General Manager as deemed appropriate and necessary by them
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Engineering or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience working in a leadership role in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Experience with precast/concrete or building materials is a plus
- Proven track record of developing, leading and maintaining a continuous improvement mindset at the plant
- Ability to work on your feet for the majority of the day in a production/plant environment subject to areas that are unheated and/or non-air conditioned

Job Description
The City of Renton is recruiting for a Civil Engineer at the 1 or 2 level to join the Surface Water Engineering section. This is an exciting opportunity to work on projects that improve drainage, reduce stormwater pollutant discharge to creeks, and improving fish habitat. These projects improve public safety and the natural environment of our growing city. Work will consist of delivering design and construction of small- to mid-scale stormwater projects, providing technical reviews for consultants, coordinating with the public and other city departments, and supporting senior engineers on large-scale complex projects. The candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills as well as experience or interest in stormwater management. The selected candidate would be hired in a Civil Engineer 1 or Civil Engineer 2 depending on their qualification and experience.

Essential Functions for Civil Engineer 1 and 2
- Participate in the selection of consultants, negotiate consultant agreements, monitor consultant progress and expenditures, manage contract, and provide technical directions to consultants; oversee the work produced by consultants to ensure that consultant deliverables are of high quality, meet the objectives of the project, and conform to applicable standards and regulations.
- Provide project coordination between city project team members, other city departments, outside agencies and other external stakeholders to ensure needs are being met by proposed designs and specifications; ensure proper communication at key intervals.
- Participate in public outreach and community involvement efforts. Compile, review, and/or present information and other materials to City Council and the public.
- Develop, recommend, and update city design standard plans, specifications, ordinances, and operating procedures.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manage the Water Distribution and Treatment team, functions, operations for the Public Works department.
- Evaluate water system for future standard upgrades and new technological alternatives of system improvement; evaluate cost, timing, and staffing issues.
- Assure water quality standards' compliance and coordinate appropriate water treatment.
- Coordinate water utility hazardous waste programs; assure plans and other records are developed and maintained in compliance with State and federal requirements; participate in City disaster/emergency planning, operations and activities.

- Update revise maps, diagrams and schematics of streets, pipe, and manhole locations.
- Inspect water pump stations to assure pumps and chemical feed stations are operating properly; assure water samples meet quality standards.
- Test water systems to assure proper and adequate water flow for fire prevention purposes and insurance qualification.
- Oversee the water metering operation including the accurate and timely collection of meter data used for utility billing of water usage.
- Monitor telemetry readings of reservoir levels and system failures; discuss concerns, malfunctions and other issues with appropriate personnel and develop actions to address issues; respond to emergency situations according to established procedures.
- Estimate materials, time and personnel required to complete work projects; develop schedules, including alternate schedules in case of inclement weather conditions; enter schedules into computer system.
- Inspect work in progress and upon completion to assure projects are completed in compliance with codes, specifications, standards, work orders and time schedules.
- Train assigned personnel in the operation, use and care of specialized equipment including telemetry and chemical and electrical testing equipment.
- Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies; assure vehicles, tools and equipment are maintained in a clean, safe, and proper working condition.
- Prepare and maintain a variety of records and reports related to water utility system operations, water quality and test results, inspections, preventive maintenance, performance evaluations, service complaints, bid specifications and work projects.
- Inspect traffic control duties for co-workers, other City departments and contractors as assigned.
