Why join us? 401(k) Program Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance Generous PTO & Paid Holidays Stable USDA-Regulated Manufacturing Environment Career Growth into Superintendent & Plant Leadership Roles Multi-Shift Leadership Exposure (1st & 2nd Shift) Job Details Key Responsibilities & Duties Lead daily production activities in assigned departments Coordinate line work to meet production orders while maintaining quality standards Monitor yields, efficiencies, and labor utilization; report production metrics Ensure strict compliance with GMPs, HACCP Plan, and customer specifications Maintain compliance with USDA, OSHA, EEO, and other government regulations Partner with Maintenance and Plant leadership to ensure minimal downtime Mentor, train, and motivate 25–50 team members Manage staffing, attendance, and line coverage Facilitate safety training and team meetings with proper documentation Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, TQM, process optimization) Maintain strong working relationships with USDA representatives Qualifications – Needed: Associate degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in food production Experience in USDA-regulated production environments Strong background in HACCP, GMP, and food safety compliance Proven ability to lead 25–50 hourly employees in a fast-paced manufacturing setting Demonstrated success improving yields, efficiencies, and labor utilization Ability to work 1st or 2nd shift based on production needs Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Interested in hearing more?
