The Materials and Process Engineering (M&PE) Department, which functions within the Hardware Engineering Discipline team, is seeking a Section Leader to lead one of our two Signature Management & Technology sections.  As a Section Lead, the ideal candidate will be accountable for leveraging all the Hardware Engineering and Materials and Process Engineering disciplines for technical execution of all engineering required for the development and manufacturing of missile hardware. 

The position is an onsite role, located in Tucson, AZ.

What You Will Do

• Perform direct line management activities and provides leadership for approximately 15-20 engineers within this technical group.

• Provide technical oversight of CRADs, IRADs, projects and program support, as well as technical development of people, training, performance management, Radar Cross Section (RCS) measurement range management, and resource allocation.

• Perform individual contributor workload in the leader’s subject matter discipline.

• Team with the Department Leader in the execution of Materials and Process Engineering, Hardware Engineering Discipline and Raytheon Engineering goals. 

• Ensure two-way communication for section members; serve as the day-to-day liaison to the programs concerning employee job assignments, performance, and recognition.

• Responsibilities also include coordinating program staffing needs and reductions, optimizing resource utilization, and interviewing applicants.

• Provide Materials and Process Engineering support to program’s product life cycle (design reviews, gate reviews, Material Review Board, Change Control Board, Process Change Board, and engineering peer reviews). 

• Provide oversight to ensure the accuracy of technical output of each assignment based on data and analyses. 

• Interface with other organizations across the Raytheon Enterprise such as Mission Assurance & Quality, Operations, Reliability, and Supply Chain. 

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience

• A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Signature Management & Technology (Low Observables)

• Experience with Computational Electromagnetic Codes (CEM)

• Experience performing RCS measurement/testing, prediction, and/or design

• Experience in prior leadership roles (frontline or project leader, experience leading teams)

• Experience in military, aerospace, or similar Department of Defense applications or environments

Qualifications We Value

The Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) Directorate is a multi-discipline organization responsible for developing test solutions for all Raytheon products. Our engineers are responsible for all elements of the development lifecycle for test.

Clinical Affairs Manager, Interventional Access (REMOTE)

The Clinical Affairs Manager will provide clinical expertise, insight, and support to clinical end-users, clinical sales specialists, sales team, Regulatory, Engineering, marketing, and other corporate departments on safe and effective use of the Teleflex Medical product portfolio with primary emphasis on the Coronary/Structural Heart franchise. Coordinate, participate, and manage educational, scientific activities at identified local, regional, and national trade shows/exhibitions. Serve as part of the CMA clinical expert team on product applications and troubleshooting when interfacing with SBU Leadership, Clinical Sales Specialists, and Teleflex team members. Participate as a clinical expert on project teams, committees, and in meetings with various corporate departments to provide guidance as to the clinical perspectives for the Coronary/Structural franchise. Build and support infrastructure for speaker programs supporting Teleflex Academy, webinars, training content, and programs. Coordinate and participate in content development and review of education material as needed by IA BU or CMA. Manage all business-associated administrative tasks and responsibilities to support job-related activities, to include strict adherence to the Teleflex Medical T&E policies and procedures, timely filing of required and/or requested reports, and documentation of activities via approved documents and forms. Adhere to applicable Teleflex IPPs, Teleflex Code of Ethics, and all Company policies, rules, procedures, and housekeeping standards.

Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in clinical, biology, health sciences, or engineering. Procedural experience within Interventional Cardiology and/or Structural Heart Possess a minimum of five years' clinical exposure in the medical field in the Cardiology environment. Medical Device industry supporting Clinical and Medical Affairs, strongly preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required; SalesForce experience preferred.

We are seeking a versatile and team-oriented Structural Project Engineer in our Structural Team, ideally located in the Syracuse or Albany, NY area, or at our Endwell, NY office. Candidates located outside the designated office locations may qualify for full remote work, subject to company policy. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering, with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. A PE is also required. Experience should include structural analysis, design, and detailing for concrete, steel, and aluminum structures. Experience with cable design is preferred.

The primary duties associated with this position include:

• The candidate should be proficient with the International Building Code (IBC); ASCE-7; ACI 318; ADM-2020; and AISC.
• Performing challenging 3-dimensional structural analyses and designs for a wide variety of clients using various state-of-the-art design software, including RISA 3D, SAP, RAM, and RISA Foundation.
• Responsible for serving as lead project engineer, i.e., taking responsibility for developing design, preparing detailed structural drawings using AutoCAD and REVIT, and specifications. This includes coordinating the work of junior team members and amongst other trades.
• Solving engineering problems using experience, judgment, and education and knowing when to ask for assistance when required.
