About the Role

The Structural Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing self-performed structural construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to CW Matthews’ quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of structural construction projects, from preconstruction through final completion
• Oversee self-performed structural work including scheduling, labor planning, equipment, and materials
• Coordinate with superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Develop and manage project budgets, cost controls, and forecasts
• Review plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure accurate execution

ABOUT THE JOB:

The Construction Estimator will be responsible for accurate quantity surveys, preparation of subcontractor and vendor work scopes, quote analysis, and estimating the cost of self-perform work. The Estimator will be a self-starter and work efficiently with some supervision. The Estimator must be able to meet critical deadlines and have the ability to work as part of a team. Other duties include, but are not limited to:

• Aid in developing full-scope cost estimates based on proposal documentation on a variety of negotiated bids, hard bids, design-build and GMP projects for various public and private clients
• Interpret and analyze project drawings and technical specifications, proposals and other documentation
• Responsible for accurate, detailed quantity take-offs from project drawings and technical specifications
• Assist in developing the initial project plan and project execution schedule
• Responsible for the preparation and documentation of project estimate following estimating policy and procedures
• Prepare detailed, comprehensive subcontractor and vendor work scopes
• Solicit subcontractor and vendor quotations
• Analyze and compare subcontractor and vendor quotations. Liaise with subcontractors and vendors for clarification of issues and scope
• Present and promote work product and findings to senior and executive management

Position Overview

The Technology team of R&D Americas, located in Kennesaw Georgia, is seeking an experienced Engineer/Technologist in the Surface Treatment and Corrosion testing laboratories. This position plays a critical role in the laboratories that handle lab testing, develop new methods, operate and maintain test equipment, resolve equipment issues, design and implement next generation capabilities to improve existing setup. R&D Americas performs R&D projects and delivers innovation in advanced aluminum alloys with special surface characteristics that meet Novelis customers’ requirements and supports Novelis manufacturing plants worldwide. The laboratories are set up to simulate real-production surface treatment processes in automotive/other OEMs and in-service corrosive environment. The Corrosion Labs includes 12 humidity chambers, one of them is dedicated specifically to adhesive/aluminum bond durability in extreme conditions.

The incumbent will work closely with Surface/Corrosion scientists to conduct research work that would include experiments design, testing, data interpretation and data analysis of the results through various laboratory based corrosion tests such as continuous neutral salt spray, cyclic corrosion testing (e.g. G85-A2), adhesive bond durability testing; surface treatment lab includes surface cleaning & etching, chemical conversion coating (e.g. Zn-phosphating), electrochemical oxidation (e.g. anodizing) and chemical bath characterization techniques (e.g. titration). A successful candidate will develop an in-depth knowledge of specialized surface treatment process/corrosion testing, while providing technical expertise/support to routine tests and non-routine experiments.

• This role is a full-time on-site role.

• Prepare samples for Surface treatment/Corrosion testing according to work request or method specifications for tests

Minimum Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years’ experience performing routine tasks and non-routine experiments in specific Surface treatment process/Corrosion testing.
• Knowledge and understanding of good safe lab practices.
• Knowledge of chemical handling and chemical mixing
• Broad experience with testing and measuring equipment, and laboratory testing tools. Mechanical proficiency and enjoy hands-on work.
• Experience in designing and implementing new capabilities within the Surface Treatment process and Corrosion testing labs

Electrical Engineer (2–3 Years Experience)

We are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in electrical design to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with electrical system layouts for commercial or industrial projects and is proficient in Revit and/or AutoCAD. Familiarity with SKM or ETAP software for SCCAF studies is a strong plus.

• Design and model electrical distribution systems in 2D and 3D using Revit and AutoCAD
• Prepare electrical layouts, schematics, and construction documents in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Assist in performing Short Circuit, Coordination, and Arc Flash (SCCAF) studies using SKM or ETAP
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and design teams to deliver high-quality design packages on schedule
• Support project documentation, reporting, and drawing set production for client submittals
• Contribute to design automation efforts (Excel macros, Dynamo, or similar) to improve efficiency

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in electrical design (commercial or industrial preferred)
• Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Role Overview

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead cross-functional industrialization, capex, and ECO projects from start to finish. This role operates within a matrix organization, managing scope, schedule, cost, and risk in alignment with PMO standards and governance.

The Project Manager serves as the single point of accountability for project execution, stakeholder coordination, and delivery performance, while partnering closely with functional leaders and WBS Owners.

This role follows established PMO policies, processes, and the PMO Handbook. Authority and accountability are defined by PMO governance.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

• Lead end-to-end project execution from PLC entry through project closure.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, and WBS structures.
• Manage customer and internal milestones using Planview.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality, cost, timing, and customer requirements.
• Proactively identify, mitigate, and escalate risks and issues per PMO policy.

Scope & Change Management

• Own project scope within PLC C-E and manage approved scope changes.
• Support project handovers from approved NPD projects for plant industrialization
• Coordinate and implement Change Requests with WBS Owners.

Resource & Team Leadership

• Lead cross-functional teams in a matrix environment without direct authority.
• Assign responsibilities, establish clear ownership, and drive accountability.
• Remove roadblocks and protect the team from external disruptions.
• Foster collaboration, engagement, and continuous improvement.

Financial & Project Controls

• Manage project budgets, forecasts, CAPEX, and Cost of Tooling.
• Track profitability, revenue, utilization, and cost-to-completion.
• Coordinate accurate and timely invoicing with functional owners.
• Understand and apply basic P&L, product costing, and investment models.

Communication & Stakeholder Management

• Lead regular project status reviews and management updates.
• Communicate progress, risks, and deviations clearly to stakeholders.
• Prepare and deliver structured project reports and presentations.
• Escalate issues appropriately to PMO leadership and Steering Committees.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree required
• (Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Management, or related field)
• Business-level English proficiency

Experience

• 2–5 years of project management experience (manufacturing or industrial preferred)
• Experience working in a PMO-governed environment
• Proven success managing cross-functional teams in a matrix structure
• Experience with risk management, change management, and stakeholder coordination
• Hands-on experience with project management software (Planview preferred)
