Southern Pines Nissan Kia is looking for an experienced, Master Automotive Technician to join our team! We are ideally looking for an individual with Nissan or Kia dealership experience. Come talk to us - we'll make it worth your time!!
As a Master Technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of mechanical repairs and maintenance on vehicles. You will utilize your strong mechanical knowledge and skills to diagnose issues, conduct repairs, and ensure the proper functioning of various vehicle systems. Additionally, you may also be involved in supervision.
*Automotive Master Technician Responsibilities*
* Assist other technicians with their work when needed, team players wanted
* Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures.
* Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
* Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
* Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed.
* Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
* Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
*Automotive Master Technician Qualifications*
* Previous Automotive Technician experience required
* Must have your own tools
* ASE certifications preferred
* Ambitious, hardworking presence in a team environment
* Able to work on all makes and models
* Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required
* Valid driver's license
* Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
* Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
* Ability to collaborate effectively
