Overview & Purpose
Precis Engineering is seeking a mid-level Process Utilities Engineer with 5 years or more of experience focusing on the design and implementation of Clean Utility Systems (WFI generation and purified water systems) and Equipment Cleaning in Place (CIP) systems for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and/or chemical industries. This individual must have a strong engineering background and a thorough understanding of equipment design, CIP design, US Pharmacopia and BPE standards.
The individual will be resourceful and goal-oriented, desiring challenging work in a dynamic environment. Process is a young business endeavor for Precis and this individual will have an entrepreneurial and strategic mindset towards the long-term growth and viability of the group. He/she will be comfortable in a process execution role as well as representing the process discipline as a technical resource on larger, multi-discipline project teams. The individual will work be responsible for generating process-related project deliverables such as P&IDs, utility diversity calculations, user requirements, equipment specifications, piping design, and corresponding narratives/reports.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for execution and coordination of multi-discipline engineering teams for process projects comprised of Precis, client, and third-party personnel.
- Work in conjunction with a subject matter expert in design and implementation for process and clean utilities for pharmaceutical manufacturing clients.
- Experience with major clean utility and Cleaning equipment manufacturers.
- Prepare and review systems calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- Familiarity of instrumentation and automation and control approaches.
- Knowledge of cGMP requirements with respect to operations and manufacturing facility design.
- Ability to communicate and articulate process design deliverables and convey the project needs to complete construction drawing deliverables to clients and partners/

The Digital / Web Strategy Lead will own and elevate the organizations public digital presence. This newly created role is responsible for transforming the website from a static, brochure-style experience into a high-performing digital engine that drives engagement, discovery, and measurable business outcomes.

Digital / Web Strategy Lead Responsibilities:

- Reimagine the current website to support top of funnel discovery, engagement, and digital self-service, moving beyond a brochure style presence.
- Own site architecture, navigation, audience targeting, and user journeys to ensure clarity, relevance, and ease of use.

Day-to-Day
The Research Associate will collect face and body data gathered from large-scale capture domes and VR headsets by:
- Staging and setting-up equipment for the study, which may include engaging with engineering, external equipment vendors, internal and external safety evaluators, and the research study team to ensure the equipment is set up properly.
- Conducting the study, including participant coaching and interaction, operating complex, experimental capture systems, and debriefing with team leadership as necessary
- Performing basic troubleshooting of capture systems (hardware and software) and escalate any bugs or issues using internal tools.
- Providing research study support, including data collection, tracking of participants, and tracking of equipment and procedures.
- Contributing to and/or update existing documentation.
- Serving as a participant for studies and being captured in various systems as needed.
- Completing project work related to captures such as recording and updating capture scripts.

Expectations for Success
To be able to successfully execute on the day-to-day responsibilities above, the Research Associate is expected to:
- Review SOPs and other any other relevant documentation and consult with the responsible Lead for any questions or clarifications in advance of the capture.
- Stay up to date with process and SOP changes for frequently used systems.
- Arrive on-time for captures and allow additional time, if needed, to review unfamiliar systems or SOPs and for operational set up
- Arrive on-time and prepared with relevant information or materials for all required trainings, meetings, and standups.
- Approach each capture and project with ability and flexibility. Be prepared to quickly pivot to new tasks, approaches to capture, or steps in documented processes to keep the team moving forward, even during blocking events.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
