Plant Manager

Location: Quincy, IL

Salary: Up to $170k plus bonus

Position Overview

Ferretti Search is excited to partner with a leading manufacturing firm as they seek a new Plant Manager to lead their next phase of growth. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for elevating operational maturity, strengthening process discipline, and driving cultural alignment within a profitable but improvement-oriented facility. The organization has recently invested in automation and capital upgrades and is committed to continued growth and investment.

Operational Leadership

• Oversee all plant operations across multiple shifts
• Lead production, maintenance, engineering, and administrative functions
• Improve production flow, scheduling, and throughput
• Ensure compliance with EH&S standards and regulatory requirements

Financial & Performance Management

• Drive cost discipline and operational efficiency
• Improve margin through labor optimization, scrap reduction, and workflow improvements
• Strengthen plant-level financial visibility and reporting
• Support annual capital planning and reinvestment strategies

Leadership & Culture

• Lead and develop department heads and supervisors
• Establish accountability and performance standards
• Build credibility in a long-tenured workforce environment
• Drive structured change management initiatives

Continuous Improvement

• Lead Lean and Kaizen initiatives
• Implement sustainable process improvements
• Support automation integration and new product line implementations

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in plant-level leadership
• Strong ERP proficiency
• Demonstrated Lean implementation experience
• Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
